Is CSA1 an exact science? (if so where can I get a copy of the formula) -merged-

You know, there are negative perceptions about both PWCs and NRPs but don't get me wrong, having previously worked at the CSA sometimes you can empathise with NRPs when they don't even get to see their babies etc. But really, where is the sense in having another baby when you are heavily in debt?

I find it interesting this thread received no positive response in open forum yet I am receiving a number of PM's from users confirming their agreement. Some are unwilling to asknowledge that agreement in public. It seems I am right in my perception but others are unwilling to show that support publicly.

As an NRP i feel like I am a member of an outcast group - a bit like the BNP party -lots of anonymous benefactors but its members just dont want to be named in public. I seem to be in the disadvantaged CSA group here.

Before I go signing up to NACSA and other CSA club memberships I have been offered lately. I ask whose side they on? and can they really advocate for both the NRP and PWC objectively and impartially? any comments?
The CSA is unjust, oppressive and discriminates men. If you tell me otherwise then 2 and 2 is 5, and you have a Ph.D in rendering bovine fecal matter.

Do you think they are the only victims?

Because the CSA debt is unlawful and I now have the task of proving in an appeal. The CSA is not entitled to put my life on hold and the law says I am allowed a normal family life.

Yes. That is a normal life right enough. You in a bedsit sharing a bathroom and kitchen and your pregnant partner in her own apartment/house.

Very normal. I bet she is delighted that as a GP she has a partner that is a bankrupt dole bum.

The last time I read that kind of story was in one of my fiction chick-lit.

But is it unlawful or is that just your opinion?

And for the benefit of anyone that is thinking that Mothballed isn't making things up for effect.

He decided to sign on on the 30 December and by yesterday (2nd Jan), he had a letter confirming that he would be receiving £121.00 a fortnight.

This is despite the fact you have to phone to make a claim then go in for an appointment...and of course we are in recession so half the country is attempting to sign on
