Is CSA1 an exact science? (if so where can I get a copy of the formula) -merged-

It doesn't say that at all - simply says there are some limits over what can be received.
The OP is talking about an ex and her new partner - very doubtful he would know the full details of their claim (assuming they are actually claiming and are claiming/continuing to receive the benefit he thinks whilst abroad).
Due to the OP not being the claimant, it is impossible to say factually what has happened :rolleyes:0 -

The poster refers to signing on. The only benefit you sign-on for (over 18) is JSA, so why am I wrong?Fokking Fokk!0 -
You accused me of implying JSA would be paid, I didn't say that at all. I didn't disagree your statement that he wouldn't get JSA either.
Just for information, when an OP posts information about a 3rd party (especially when there appears to be bitterness between the same parties), I don't take as gospel that they know the entire circumstances.0 -

I think it would take a lot more than this for Social services to remove your kids.
I quite agree. I understand benefit fraud carries a custodial sentence and who else will social services go to for rehousing my children?
Ex tells the CSA she & kids live alone. Her b/f works as a mobile car mechanic (van outside house every night) and drinks in the pub telling everyone he is a mechanic and his adverts give her address of business. I went to a jobcentre plus to make enqiries on JSA and lookiee what I see? her boyfriend sitting in the signing-on queue.
This is for another day. I really need CSA cleared up first. The CSA is unjust, oppressive and discriminates men. If you tell me otherwise then 2 and 2 is 5, and you have a Ph.D in rendering bovine fecal matter.0 -

I concur with that. I am told the same. The CSA is unjust, oppressive and discriminates men. If you tell me otherwise then 2 and 2 is 5, and you have a Ph.D in rendering bovine fecal matter.0 -

Unless you are posting using two names - the other is Loopy Lass - I have never said you are wrong. You have edited my post ina quotation and joined two separate comments from the post to make a different meaning.
Im not sure what you are trying to do.The CSA is unjust, oppressive and discriminates men. If you tell me otherwise then 2 and 2 is 5, and you have a Ph.D in rendering bovine fecal matter.0 -

Quite alot because my bedsit is not setup to rehouse my children if my ex and her b/f receive custodial sentences for benefit fraud. I'd rather not discuss that here. What goes around willcome around but I really must sort out the CSA.Loopy_Girl wrote: »And I reiterate - you've not suffered with a g/f who is a high earner.
I earned a lot more than she does. its irrelant.Loopy_Girl wrote: »Perhaps you should have put your last 2 months internet connection towards buying new shoes

I doubt a travel agent would have any knowledge of an individuals signing on date.
Travel agents know when a client is moving travel dates to fall between an event that take place every fortnight. The CSA is unjust, oppressive and discriminates men. If you tell me otherwise then 2 and 2 is 5, and you have a Ph.D in rendering bovine fecal matter.0 -
ON a DEO they (your employer) MUST leave you with your protected income, ie the £200+ per week which is what you earn, so at the moment they cannot make any deductions. The case would go into arrears, but whilst this is going on, you fight for a reassessment using your bus driver's payslips to prove your income. I can't see why they are using your old income now if you have evidence that you have changed paths - you can prove it via your wageslips so they can't refuse. When did you send them payslips from your busdriving job asking for a reassessment?0
