Is CSA1 an exact science? (if so where can I get a copy of the formula) -merged-

How much arrears are we talking about?
Sorry missed it. Its £2772. Council tax is about £763 plus a couple hundred bailiffs fees. I have not paid rent or council tax over a year. CSA maintenance formula doesnt allow it as a non dependant. The CSA is unjust, oppressive and discriminates men. If you tell me otherwise then 2 and 2 is 5, and you have a Ph.D in rendering bovine fecal matter.0 -

Jobcentre plus says it is £121.00.The CSA is unjust, oppressive and discriminates men. If you tell me otherwise then 2 and 2 is 5, and you have a Ph.D in rendering bovine fecal matter.0 -

Right. So every NRP that has decided to put himself on benefits to avoid paying CSA gets £67.50 a week but physically gets £60.50 whereas every other normal person gets £60.50 and actually gets £60.50. New one on me
Mind you, I suppose having a partner earning £58k a year must be a softener for 'being on the breadline'0 -

Ok i was a bit snappy, this CSA malarky is really doing my nut in. Im getting the impression its my fault I am the villainous NRP.The CSA is unjust, oppressive and discriminates men. If you tell me otherwise then 2 and 2 is 5, and you have a Ph.D in rendering bovine fecal matter.0 -

We dont live together. There is no point throwing more money at the CSA. The assessment is wrong and it doesnt fix the problem. Throwing money at lawyers does. I think this issue has been beat to death now.The CSA is unjust, oppressive and discriminates men. If you tell me otherwise then 2 and 2 is 5, and you have a Ph.D in rendering bovine fecal matter.0 -
Oh and btw...since you were commenting a post of mine was 'irresponsible' earlier...I think that a man that can't afford his first family but goes out and procreates with another is a perfect example of being irresponsible.
You have had heaps of help here, never think to thank anyone and are getting quite arsey with me for some reason. I advised to get your MP involved and it was no go and yet Kelloggs agrees with everything I have said...and then all of a sudden because 'Kel' is saying the right things, an MP is the way to go??
We are only either employees of the CSA or users as a PWC or NRP giving help and advice as best we can.0 -

But you don't have money to throw at lawyers surely? you've just bunged yourself on the dole.....
You've done nothing to try and resolve the incorrect assessment. You haven't even asked for an appeal for goodness sake. Why throw money at a lawyer when you could fix it yourself (which Kelloggs has said to you on a number of occassions)0 -
Oh it will, believe me. Long past May 2009.
I have never been on JSA, but I think it's not the bed of roses you think it is. Thorns more like and I wish you luck.
If i stay put and carry on working, the following happens.
1. rent arrears grows adinfintum
2. council tax arrears accrues adinfinitum
3. I am a non dependant.
4. I am forced to live on £54 a week.
5. I get no legal aid.
6. I cannot go bankrupt - only an IVA which carries nearly £400 in charges whih I do not have.
7. Im completely nackered working for zip!
8. I am pestered by bailiffs and debt collectors. Room mates car is lifted by bailiff because he thought it belonged to me. (PWC 'reported 'me to CSA driving it).
9. I have the CSA on my back.
10. CSA wont even allow me buy myself a pair of work shoes.
If i join JSA:
1. I get £60.50 a week
2. The CSA still gets £7 a week
3. The CSA is off my back.
4. Rent and council tax is paid.
5. I am immune from council tax bailiffs because I am on living on a prescribed benefit.
6. I am immune from CSA enforcement because bailiffs cannot lawfully force a debtor to give up his right to the minimum poverty threshold..
7. Bankruptcy clears my debts and its doesnt cost a bean.
8. I get legal aid.
9. I get free prescriptions
10. I dont need any work shoes.
This bed of thorns will suit me just fine. The CSA is unjust, oppressive and discriminates men. If you tell me otherwise then 2 and 2 is 5, and you have a Ph.D in rendering bovine fecal matter.0 -

The CSA put me there. I was prevented from carrying on the normal course of my employ. Kelloggs says SL offers no win no fee and being on JSA I get legal aid.Loopy_Girl wrote: »You've done nothing to try and resolve the incorrect assessment. You haven't even asked for an appeal for goodness sake.
read my posts. I made several written requests for an appeal throughout 2007 all to no avail or fobbed off with excuses. How many times do I have to send the same letter? It was the CSA's choice not to give me an appeal.Loopy_Girl wrote: »Why throw money at a lawyer
Because my g/f is tired of throwing money at the CSA by bailing me out.Loopy_Girl wrote: »when you could fix it yourself (which Kelloggs has said to you on a number of occassions)

Great. You have summarised well. Tell Stephen Lawson this.
Are you going to meet him in slippers ( sorry couldn't resist this )? Can you afford to get your existing shoes re-soled?
Did you know bankruptcy ...I had picked up on this before, but not said anything... does not clear CSA arrears?
I still cannot get my head round this. You have a very well paid girlfriend ( long suffering me thinks) who is expecting your baby. But you are talking as a single person.
And you still haven't answered my question. How much are you in arrears?
Bowing out of this one now. Love to see the long term results in the next year.
But you just don't know whom you are responding to on the internet.:cool:0
