With regards to the above I deposited another £1000 but abit peeved that I would have to wait another 28 days for the £100 but at the same time wrote Barclays a stroppy email saying that the t&cs stated 2 months and nothing about the account months and did only t&c apply to customers.
Anyway to cut a short story even shorter, have had a look at my account and they paid the £100 yesterday.

Well, I wanted to withdraw £1500 to pay some bills. I CAN'T They have a rediculous £1000 limit. I have to wait 2 days before I can take out any more. Their help desk in India told me 3 lies which I pulled them up on. More to the point, I can't find this in their T&C and nor can they.
B****y shambles. I feel 10000 transfers coming on at 1p per time. Yup that will make me feel a whole lot better0 -

Paid in the 2nd £1000 on 1st March and no £100 for her. I got mine on 23rd March which doesn't stack up with this email received:

I complained to Barclays and received a 'phone call back. It is sheer volume that is slowing the process of crediting accounts with the £100.
There doesn't appear to be any system of crediting according to when second £1k was paid in. As long as it was paid in, this triggers the £100 payment but not in any particular order.
My second £1k was in on 3rd March. I should receive my £100 by tomorrow, but I won't hold my breath. I am assured that I will receive it, though.0 -
I got my £100 yesterday - probably less than 28 days after the 2nd payment. I think they are biting the bullet and paying up now. I would love to have been a fly on the wall at the meetings where this was discussed!0

I've just been told there is a week's backlog because of volumes. Shouldn't they have anticipated this already?0

Great - my £100 was credited to my account yesterday. This is before the 28 days from 2nd deposit, I was not expecting the money until next week.

I guess I'm lucky mine was credited today 28 days after the 2nd £1000.00 went in. Now I'd better just transfer the balance out. I'd thought I'd keep the account open but they refused to consider even a basic cheque guarantee card and what use is a current account you cant write cheques on, what an own goal..0

I haven't received my £100 yet so sent an e-mail yesterday, altho' not yet 28 days since 2nd £1K deposited, just to see Barclays response.
E-mail sent at lunchtime today saying they are reviewing the remainder of the accounts. Anyone who met the criteria in the T&C's, will receive the £100 by the end of this week.
Let's see if we all have it in our accounts by Saturday.0 -

I got my account opened on 18th, so should be ok, just a litle worried that i didn't pay my first £1000 soon enough,
but second lot went in today,
