Hello!!!
well have almost finshed my chrimble shopping!!!!!:j just have to buy the mil something and done! first time i have finished before ds1's birthday, dont normally start till after. cant believe he will be 5 on sunday.................time flies!
will be starting a new diary soon, new year, new promises and all that.........just need to think of a catchy name for it?! any ideas???
well my fella is raring to go for next year and our debt busting mission (will see how long it lasts eh?!) has already started taking a flask of hot stuff to work on his own accord (major, major thing as you will know if survived long enough through this diary)
its payday today so will be paying off more of the debts.....mil already paid today so will shift some more about later. then can start the pay £10k off in 2010 challenge........oh this time next year rodney...........:rotfl:
thinking of upgrading the breadmaker......seen a nice one in comet, it has a 60 min fast bake on it (very usefull) and makes jam etc. its £75 but still have some money left from my birthday so trying to secure a "i pay half" deal with santa.
right, am training soon on how to be a mentor to student nurses (have had a student now for 4 weeks so bit late if i have been doing it wrong:rotfl:)so have to go and get ready (read drink lots of coffee so the caffine kicks in to keep me awake)
hope your all well and not drowning in christmas stuff......

Hi rags - well done on all your shopping!! Im nearly there aswell...nearly...
I think the deal with santa sounds a good one!! Hopefully you have been doing it all right then with the mentoring.....
New yr new start is a what i was thinking for my diary aswell. Need the new spurt so i can get back on track...
Hope it lasts with dh....GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. No6 Due Mar 2013 My world.:j0 -
Training the other day was pointless.......have now been updated on something i havent done in the first place!!!!! I trained as a mentor to overseas nurses but apparently that qualifies me to mentor student nurses as well. Was sat in a room full of job- worths (you know the type, know even the small print to every policy ever made) so spent 2 hours feeling very inadaquate and under qualified. Least i was paid for the privalige!:rotfl:
Paid most of my payments to the debts (ooh last ones for the year) so am ready with my figures for paying £10k off next year. Should hopefully have paid off the credit cards, mil and the overdraft (working on the basis we actually stay out of it) by this time next year. Then will have about £12k left in loans and the sofa...........really hoping i can be debt free by 2012 ish......2 years off my current dfd! (fingers crossed)
Well ds1 is being really naughty at the moment, even the threat of no presents from santa is not working. may have to wrap a lump of coal for his first present, cruel but may work?!?!?!?!
Daily scratcheez done for the day, had a little go on the santa card (just so my account wont close and all that) and won £8!!!!! so have over the withdawel limit on one but will wait till the new year to withdraw it.
onwards and upwards.......i will not get too stressed out. Have to go food shopping later and that will be a nightmare!!!
ho ho ho,
love rags

Doesnt have to be an elf could be a dog or bear or something? Then you could tell him the santa spy was watching when he was being naughty.
Boooo to bad training sessions, as you know im a trainer and there is no excuse for bad sessions. You can be knowlegable without being an a**e!! And you can add some fun into everything.

Rags get a family friend to ring up pretending to be Father Christmas, we did this last year to DS, my brother rang him and started saying that it had been reported to him that ds was being very badly behaved for mummy and if it continued he wouldn't deliver any presents, was hysterical his little face was a picture, his behaviour did get slightly better and all we had to say to him every time he played up was, what will Father Christmas do if he finds out your not being good.0

Well, how are we all?!
I have had to take the day off work today as both my boys are full of cold and so tired. So that kinda wipes out the little overtime i would of had in next months pay. never mind, the boys are more important. Why is it that littles uns get grumpy and the big ones get naughty when they are feeling a little poorly?!?!?!
Me and the OH had a bit of a talk last night and i think he is now finally on my wave length! He may even join me on losing weight (although if he does he doesnt anyone to know) Is still taking his flask of hot stuff and i havent had to nag him! RESULT!!!!!:T
He has agreed to things that we could do to reduce our spending and put more to the debts, so hoping to start meal planning and doing a shopping list again. My mum and dad have even started meal planning so think that is helping as he knows its not just us that are doing it.
Have a few cakes in the pipeline so hoping that it may lead to more once people see and taste them (all of them are for big parties.............) would prefer to do cakes as extra income than take on extra shifts at work.....so much more enjoyable and not as tiring!
well, am off for a coffee, can feel my eyelids getting heavy. Really dont know how i managed when ds2 was a baby and i lived with this tiredness.......?
love rags
