Hiya, not put this weeks in yet, will do on thurs night or fri when not at work. Am loving my spreadsheet though........................loads go out the account in the next 2 days (savings and debt repayments) so will have a good idea on fri how the account is looking.
Today wasnt as bad as yesterday, think the shock of finding out a mate you work with has cancer has sunk in now.............. although had a moment where i really forgot how to be a nurse and deal with a poorly resident......a hug and kind word from the manager and i was ok.
Trying to think of something that is interesting or funny to say to perk my diary up...........................ummmm, nope, nothing!!!!

Hi Rags
Just caught up with you and your diary. Yay on extra shifts hugs for the reason for them.
It is very shocking to hear a friend has cancer, my best friend from school has breast cancer at the monet and had to have a mastectomy last week. Very sad and frustrating that there is nothing you can do to help.
Yopu sound so determined to get rid of your debts and are spending loads of time and effort into busting them so well done you!! x x xDebt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

Its going down people!!!!!!! or is that up?????
Well, have had a busy week so far...............will have loads of extra shifts next month as there are 2 nurses off so plenty of extra going. The manager hinted today that i may even have to do some 5 day weeks to help with the shortage. Gonna be hard but its only short term and just thinking bout the extra money to throw at the debts. Have so very nearly paid a grand off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But am £195 short so far from meeting my £4k target but will hopefully have extra left at the end of the month to throw at it.
Good news on my friend (well sort of), she has had some more tests done and the cancer hasnt spread and is in the early stages. She has 3 little tumors though so will need chemo. think she is going to be off for some time..............................wouldnt wish it on your worst enemy. The only thing is in the 2 years i have worked there she is the third to have cancer!!!!!!! they say 1 in every how many get cancer???? think that we have
filled that quota now...........................
Right am off to watch the red nose big climb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! rather them than me!!!!!!!December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

I HAVE LOST 4LBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! whoo hoo!!!!
Didnt weigh myself last week so hopped onto the scales this morning and am now 10st 13lbs!!!!!! Must be all the walking i am doing now back at work..............im not complaining!
Have been trying to work out how much extra i will have to throw at my debts with the overtime...........think i will have over £200 from my wage next month and over £500 (if i get two weeks where am working 5 days) in april. Thats not including the scratchcards and cashback i will be getting soon, or my fella's overtime if he can get any............. cant help thinking though that if we werent in debt we would have some major savings by now.......... actually we probably wouldnt as we would spend it on crap. Think having a lightbulb moment is what people need to sort out the money even if they dont have any debt!!!!
Am loving my day off today, have got lots of housework to catch up on thoough but that can wait, ds2 having his nap so on here, ds1 playing with all ds2's toys!!!!:rotfl: Me and ds1 are going to cook some yummy cakes later as the last lot didnt last very long. Bought some biscuits with the weekly shop and for the first time ever there are still 2 packets out of 3 left!!!!! my fella usually polishes them off in a day or two.........
Will be doing my weekly shop in mr m's later as my mum has given me a voucher from the paper where if you spend £40 you can get 4 bags of fruit FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is my normal amount of fruit that i get every week so very handy!!!!!! Will puree one bag as normal for ds2!!
Did anyone else watch the red nose climb last night????? they did so well, think if i was fern i would of give up but she was so strong to get to the top despite being so ill...........
right off for a
catch up with you all soon (are you all still out there????!!!!:rotfl: )
love rags

Aha!!!!!!!!!! knew there would be a simple reason for it...............ME!!!!!!!!! thank you, have sorted it out and its now right and am slightly happier as not overspent by so much every month.
Shows how much of a wrong picture we were getting from the bank statement as it showed that for 6 feb-6 march we had underspent by £200 or so when in reality i overspent by £300 for all of feb!!!!!!!! Shocking............ and prob why i have never been able to stick to the budget and got to the overdraft limit.December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22
