    Hi Rags!!
    Happy Mothers Day x x

Well done on nearing 1k, you are doing so well.
Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700
    :TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

2020 the year of less - Less debt, less waste, less spending, less stuff, less stress!
  • Hey pipsmum, hope your ok, not heard from you in a while.......... its amazing how much i want to get to the £1k mark, and then look at the total figure of debt and realise that is just a small fish in a big pond.

My mum has just reminded me that years ago we started a car boot pile in the attic when we sorted through all our stuff after i moved out, we are gonna get that down at some point and stick it on ebay. Gonna try and get some things listed this week as the listing is free if it starts at 99p or less so gonna try my look again.

Really need to do something to tone my tummy, someone asked me today when the baby was due!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! felt sorry for them when i said i had him 6 months ago. I was bloated a little though............................................... thinking of trying the rennies chewy wind tablets as already taking peppermint oil after meals and its not really working and getting bloated after most meals now.

One week and a bit till its april and i can tot up how much we have spent this month ( i say tot up, my wonderful sreadsheet is doing that for me already) really hoping we have been good and not overspent so will have some money to throw at the debts. Will be back into the £1k overdraft again i think once the mortagae and stuff comes out but then i will get paid not long after. Working it out roughly will have about £400-£450 extra to throwat the debts, making the total to pay off next month around the £800 mark!!!!! same for mays wage too. Ooh, forgot about the cashback i will be getting too next month!!!! will be way ahead of my target...............might put some in the savings for the cars as got oh's insurance, mots and tax around the same time and not sure we will have enough...........will do next year as wont touch the money over xmas as now have seperate savings pot for that.

right, think its my bedtime, have had a hard weekend at work and am totally drained.
catch up with you all soon

  • Thanks mummy, wouldnt of been able to get any where near really without all my over time, although feeling drained today as worked 6 days last week. got today off then in work again for 3 days, then have 3 days off so its not so bad!

Not sure if i will get much overtime next month though as only one nurse will be off not 2, might just tell managenent that i will do what the other nurse would of done as that will be an extra 2-3 days next month which is a couple of 100 quid extra after tax. Not sure my mum will have any extra for me either as i was just helping last week for someone on holiday...................................................

really looking forward to pay day now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

will be able to withdraw another £10 from my scratch cards today!!!!:j will pay that straight off the debts and quidco are due to send me 48p this month!!! ha ha ha!!! every little helps and all that..........

not heard back from egg about the missing money, hoping they will let me know whats going on by tomorrow, that will help loads if they cancel that as will then transfer the rest of the overdraft to the card. Its amazing the boost you get when you see your bank balance is in the black not red, makes the other debts not seem like such a big mountain!

right, am off to catch up with you all

really need to lose weight now and tone up, seen some lovely clothes in asda so good price but wouldnt feel comfy in them due to my tummy over hang and muffin top..............................:( also saw a mate in there and she had her second a few months before me and she has somehow managed to get her figure back and looked really good, i on the other hand looked like a right slob.

right, any ideas on how i can shrink my tummy and tone up????????

Hi Rags - just dropping by to make sure work is ok?

Any news on Egg and the missing Next money yet? I had a similar thing a few years ago with a payment to a Tesco c/card!! It was a nightmare whilst things were getting sorted, but then it all came good and I kind wondered what I was worrying about. The money is there somewhere, hopefully they will be able to tell you where soon!

No ideas on the tummy toning I'm afraid! Something like a 'slendertone'?

I love a good plan - it may not work.... but I love a good plan!
  • I have the same problem. I'm losing weight & my stomach is becoming more 'loose'! Eurgh!

I can only recommend situps. They might not seem to work, but they do. They will build the muscle from under your boobs first, and belly last - so keep at it!

  • thats it, have finished work for the week!!!! am pooped!!!! nice 3 days off now then back to the grinding stone.
Has been a tough week at work as have a few poorly people, its very draining but satisfying at the same time that i have made them comfy and they are still dignified till the end, and the families are cared for................................... suppose thats why im still a nurse.

not long now till pay day and i can make all my overpayments!!!!! whoo hoo!!!!!! got my childcare bill for next month too and it is nearly £40 cheaper than last month as april only has 30 days!!!!

Thinking of putting the £200 cashback into the a+l account and putting money away each month for clothes for us all. my fella doesnt really buy new clothes and i havent since ds2 was born as dont want to splash out only to lose some more weight and drop down a dress size. More for the kiddies really, spesh with summer coming up and ds2 will need a whole new wardrobe soon as he is growing so fast. least i have some money stashed away i wont have to worry so much when buying clothes.................... anyone else do the same?????

have sort of managed to catch up with everyones diaries, seem to miss alot when you dont log in for a day!!!!!!!!

ds2 now starting on lumpy food, loves the apple and bluberry oats so simple!!!! cant get the spoon in quick enough!!!!!. not ready for same meals as us yet but wont be long. going to get him something called a munchkin (?i think thats what its called) a dad invented it after his lttle one died from chocking. Its a net that you put fruit or what ever in and they can chew on the net which mushes the food up. Thinking will be good for strawberries and lumps of cooked apple/pear/carrott etc. went on to jars at this point with ds1 as was easier for the lumps but determined not to do that this time. going to get some baby rice/pasta so can add that to the purreed stuff i already have and can try him on things like spag bol, macaroni cheese etc as i think he is getting sick of eating fruit and veg all the time!!!! he loves rice pudding and custard now so makes a nice change for him as a pudding rather than yogurts.

going to hop onto the scales tomorrow as never did it on wednesday............ not so bothered bout the numbers really now, just need to tone up.

right, think i have rambled on enough, time for bed.
    talk soon
