Just checked the next account online and it has cleared!!!! I NO LONGER HAVE TO PAY THERE 20% INTEREST RATE!!!!!!!! and am actually £43 in credit with them so may just have to order myself something nice..........................

Well am so glad i am off now till monday!!!! starting to feel the effects of doing all the overtime. Had a moment today where i had a wobble thinking am i a bad mum for working all the overtime instead of being at home with my kids???????? where is the fine line between earning for your family and being a bad mum?????? im sure i will feel better when i get paid and can pay a nice chunk off................ suppose the guilt of being a working mum will always be there lurking in the back.

Going to sort out ds2's room tomorrow so he will be sleeping in his own room tomorrow night!!!!!! my baby is growing up!!!!! sad moment but well needed.

right, am off to enjoy a large glass of wine and watch ramsey's kitchen nightmares!!!!

well, all the hours i have been working has finally caught up with me. Have been getting migraines since wed and this morning feel as though i have been in the ring with ricky hatton and mike tyson together!!!!! feel bad that i have rung in sick but just cant face another 12 hour shift like this. Gonna try and get into the docs today to see if they can give me anything to help......

ds2 is finally in his own room!!!!! looks a little lost in the huge cotbed but hasnt bothered about the new surrondings and have had no sleepless nights!!!!!!! in a good way it shows he was ready for the move!!!! my room looks a little empty without his crib in the corner though...................

its payday in 4 days!!!!:T looking forward to seeing how much i will get after the tax man has got his hands on it...........

ds2 is now going on to mostly mash type puree foods which is hard to do with my hand held blender. Got some of the little pasta shapes to add in but could really do with a food processor....................going to register with freecycle today i think to see if i can pick up a free one!!!!

need to step up my ebaying now i dont have a junk room anymore, all my bin bags of ebay stuff have been chucked into the bottom of everyones wardrobes!!!!!!! really need to get rid now.............

hope everyone had a good weekend???

  • Don't bring yourself down, you're a wonderful Mum! You're debt-crunching FOR your children. So you have a better, happier life! Yes, you're taking overtime now, but it's only a temporary measure & won't be forever or long term.

    Hi Rags

There is a HUGE difference between working hard for your famly and being a bad mum, dont worry you are a long way from that.

Bless DS being in his own room, Pip is already in his cotbed (next to ours) and e looks swamped by it!

Well done on the Next account and also well done for keeping on at them about the Egg money.

  • Hello, and thank you for your kind words. I know your right, it is for the short term and it is so they have a better future i just need to keep that in mind when i have a wobble.

Well managed to get in the doctors yesterday although i had to tell a porkie and say work wanted me to see a doc after all the time i have had off otherwise the snotty receptionist wasnt going to let me take up an appointment till thurs!!!!!!!! Not much help when i got there though, wanted to give me a sleeping tablet (urmmm, not with a baby!!!!) and then just gave me 4 tramadol capsules (strong painkillers) so am nearly out now. Feeling a little more human today so will see.

Well i get paid in 2 days as friday is a bank holiday!!!!!!!! yay!!!!!!! am dying to get the excess paid off and do my ticker!!!!!!!

  • Hello all who read this.

i am so so tired today, was at the hospital with ds2 last night till gone midnight. I thought he had a chest infection as was coughing so much he was nearly sick and was crying out in pain, turns out he has tonsilitis!!!!!!! either way he is now on antibiotics and feeling a little better whilst i am left shattered with no energy.

Just found out the oh has to have a night out tonight and possibly another one tomorrow.....................really not happy about it as could do with some help here with ds2 being poorly but suppose its a little extra money coming in.

Not sure whats happened this month but checked the bank account and we are back to being over £2k overdrawn???????:mad::mad::mad: need to spend a bit tonight filling in my spreadsheet i think.............. a few steps forward and loads more back!!! oh well, at least my other debts are coming down slowly.................

good news, even though i havent lost much more weight, i have dropped lots of inches and am so nearly into the size 12 tunic!!!!!!!! it fits and i can do it up but is a very snug fit and prefer to have a little more room personally. give it to the end of the month and im hoping it will fit nicely!!!!

Am bored as naff all on tv and the oh is down south somewhere....... the house is eerily quiet without him.

Have figured out whats gone on with the money and overdraft situation, last month i paid the childcare bill after payday and have paid before this month effectivly paying 2 months worth with one months wages. Should hopefully even out in the next month or two.

Have just been pureeing the whoopsied fruit and veg i got today in mr m's, should keep ds2 going for a while. Was going to mash it so lumpy but with him having tonilitis and possible earache at the mo, i have pureed it smooth with a hint of texture. Last time i did apple puree i used the pink lady apples but they turned out watery and didnt taste of much, used a different type this time (cant remember the name for the life of me, begins with B) and smells lush and is nice and thick. Left the skins on for added fibre and most nutrients lurk under the skin and still pureed fine.

Still not got my potato growing kit and blueberry plant, but not that fussed at the mo as we are forecast snow over the weekend (i know, easter should mean spring/warm weather not snow) and would hate to get them and the cold kill them off. that woudnt be very mse!!!!!

whoo hoo, payday tomorrow i hope!!!!! cant see them keeping it till next tues.........may even make a special effort to get up at the right time so i can check the bank account before i go to work............................................ gives me all day then to plan how much to pay on what!!!!!!:D

early night tonight i think, saves me talking to myself on here, everyone seems to have disappeared since they moved the diaries to a board of there own..............:(

Here here!!! Everone seems to have gone really quiet! :( I'm still here though and I'm certain the others will re-appear in their own time! (I'm going to go and kick OBNW in a mo - she has been expecially bad!!)

So is it payday Rags? I hope so!! Think of all that planning and budgeting you can do!! :p Work totally messed up this week and we won't be getting paid til Tuesday:eek:. Luckily, due to my new DFW ways, I can absorb the delay! :D

Well done on the losing inches!! Much more important when it comes to getting clothes that fit than your actual weight!

Well - I'll be back later - had better go and do some work!
