I would like to be relaxed when people knock at the door and not panic stricken!!Please can I join ?I promise to try hard ....
Not sure how to add the tree.
Hi moonflower. You are very welcome to come out of lurkdom and join us in the daylight!!!!:rotfl:
Since you have been lurking before you know roughly how it works. our illustrious leader pigpen adds a new list to the first post every day so dive in and do what you can - you dont have to do it all just to whatever level you can reasonably manage - make sure you read the 1st post as it gives you all the info and abbreviations
Dont stress about the mess - your home didnt get in a mess overnight so dont expect a miracle and it become tidy in a day!!! Remember its BABYSTEPS - just do what you can and it will get easier evryweek and soon you will catch up on the things you have missed
There is no such word as failure here- always post what you have done no matter how little it all counts.
the support and encouragement on this thread is fantastic - THE BEST! - feel free to ask questions(most of us dont bite!) and we will all try to give suggestions - not always sane ones!!!
Welcome to the totally bonkers mad house!!!

Oh and slow down will you, you're making the rest of us look bad.
OJK good luck with the bedroom, I am sure she'll be really pleased
JustaMum hope he stops it soon
SSL good luck with the assignments.
Thanks for all your thoughts. I have rang the doctors, leg feels 'dead' more than anything else but that darn stabbing pains there still. Got an appointment next week and reordered repeat meds.
I've done a bit so far, WM is now on again because first time the stuff didn't go in, it seems to be holding it where the flap is....if you know what I mean, think I will look on washerhelp later. I've cleaned the hob, wiped the oven liner, emptied/refilled DW (with DS2 helping pass low stuff) cleaned the kitchen benches and cleaned the sink. Oh wiped door fronts over aswell.
Next job while I wait for WM/DW to finish so I can put the next loads in is bomb site sitting room......One day I might be more organised...........

Afternoon all, how are we all doing today?
I don't normally make new years resolutions..but have resolved to get my but in gear, organize my flying and keep up with this thread properly!
So far today;
WMx1
TDx2
DWx1
Hounds fed and watered..have to "spot-on" them in bit
People fed and watered
All little bins emptied and put in the wheely bin
Shepards pie base slowly cooking in the oven
Decorations coming down slowly.
Have also given into little sis' whining for quick jacket potatoes and nipped down to asda to buy a new microwave. We had an ancient one that was terribly posh when we got it..circa 1986 but threw it away as it was the size of small car and we hadn't used it years. Worryingly I'm 28 and a little frightened of putting the wrong thing in it and blowing the house up. Ohh well...one day I'll be a proper grown-up and appliances will no longer scare me!Sanity is the playground of the unimaginative!0
