lil_me...sounds nasty. I was miserable enough with my sciatica so to have it years must be really depressing :(

Gryfon the diagnosis a long time ago was 'nerve damage' but I think the 'possible sciatica' diagnosis I was given as a child might also have something to do with it, I was discharged from neuros who were investigating further, when I took ill with my liver as they needed to sort that first, just haven't be rerefered back to neuros yet which I want to sort this week. Been like this for many years, just has ups and downs, downs getting more often and annoying at the mo but something I am quite used to now. What is causes is pins and needles sensation almost all the time, no skin sensation at all haven't had any for about 10 years now so if I run my hand over it I can feel it if it's firm which hurts but nothing on the skin so have slashed it open without even noticing, when it goes off I usually have to lift it and then I get these rather gastly stabbing/shooting sort of pains, all fun. Skin sensations the same in both legs, but the main pains and issues are in the left. No driving for me until it's better.

I have the no skin sensation all around where i had my c-section 12.5 yrs ago..... it was a very rough one! it doesn't give me trouble day to day, like your legs would, but put me off being intimate!

    Thanks for the HHC sexymouse...

    I have:

Emptied the WM and put some stuff in the drier, folded the rest ready to go on the airer when the floors have been done
Dusted my dressing table and all the bits on it, cleaned the lightbulbs in the bedroom (so I should now be able to see), and put the bedroom blind back. I've now closed the door on the bedroom until I go back to wash the floor :D I have also put my suitcases away (so can now seem some of the spare room floor), tidied the landing cupboard and put some more bits in it, moved some stuff from the spare room into the study, and moved an ikea plant stand and drawer unit I no longer need into the garage, together with some uncollected freecycle stuff that somehow got put in the spare room before Christmas...

So I thought I might put another load of washing on, then hoover and wash the floors downstairs before going back upstairs. That way, the floors will be clean enough for me to put the airers out and I won't have to take them down again while the washing is still damp.

I really need to bite the bullet next week and get the utility room finished, as I've discovered that quite a lot of the stuff in the spare room originally came from the utility room!
