Gryfon the diagnosis a long time ago was 'nerve damage' but I think the 'possible sciatica' diagnosis I was given as a child might also have something to do with it, I was discharged from neuros who were investigating further, when I took ill with my liver as they needed to sort that first, just haven't be rerefered back to neuros yet which I want to sort this week. Been like this for many years, just has ups and downs, downs getting more often and annoying at the mo but something I am quite used to now. What is causes is pins and needles sensation almost all the time, no skin sensation at all haven't had any for about 10 years now so if I run my hand over it I can feel it if it's firm which hurts but nothing on the skin so have slashed it open without even noticing, when it goes off I usually have to lift it and then I get these rather gastly stabbing/shooting sort of pains, all fun. Skin sensations the same in both legs, but the main pains and issues are in the left. No driving for me until it's better. One day I might be more organised...........

Hugs to everyone feeling poorly today.
As I know a lot of people on this thread have pets, and order stuff online, I thought I'd post and let you know that I've just had an email from petmeds.co.uk offering 5% off at the till if you use the promotional code:
JAN OFFER
I've just ordered my plaque off for the year for the cat, as it seems to be working as the vet said his teeth only have a little bit of plaque on them now, so hopefully it'll avoid us having to get him expensive dental treatment. It also works on dogs btw and as well as stopping the plaque, also freshens their breath. - sorry this sounds like a bit of an advert doesn't it. Oh well, I can assure you that I'm in no way affiliated with the company, just trying to be helpful.
I had a bit of a disaster today - as I got up very late, and went straight to the computer, I forgot to take my sandwich out to defrost, so I've got it in the sun patch in the hall downstairs (in it's bag still) in the hope that this will speed things up a bit. For those of you who haven't read the thread in detail, I'm experimenting with freezing sandwiches for work, and have made one up using cream cheese and quorn ham (qh says not suitable for freezing, so I'm checking this out).
Anyone want to do a HHC whilst I wait for my lunch to defrost? I've got 2 loads of washing to put away, and some hoovering to do, as soot has come through the fire again.
