I'll go do something in a bit when my legs stop hurting after the painkillers I haven't taken yet kick in...

Hubby has vacuumed some of the landing as ASBO-kitty smashed a glass light fitting

I got my Lakeland sale box this morning.. DS2's birthday presents sorted .. he is 13 on the 15th.

I have a huge amount of washing to get through and I may try hanging some on the line seeing as the s.u.n. is out (not saying it too loud in case it disappears again)

Now.. where did I leave my list?

JaM, I echo what toots says above!

So far DH has taken some cards down and is sorting itunes on the pc so he can update both ipods with our new music. We've also found a few nice recipes in my new gordon ramsay healthy cookbook and made a shopping list. I also had a bowl of porridge (take note toots!) to start my healthy week well. Next job is to get the tree etc down and then get showered and dressed!

  • Hi all!

Was busy yesterday. DH was 40. We went to Lakeside. His idea. My god, it was horrendous. Then my sis had the kids & we went out for a meal in the evening. So apart from a load of washing, I didn;t get anything done/

    Today

washing (1 load ready to be hung up)2 load on, 1st load hung up
    S&S kitchen. DONE
    Bathroom. My next job. done
    Hoover through.
    Ironing. my next job!
    Sort DS clothes.

Also need to do a HHC in my bedroom.

DH has taken DD to London today to watch Chelsea v Sarfend.

DS will happily amuse himself, bless him! I will take him out later though. We need to go to the carwash. Exciting, huh! will go after ironing. Also have to go shopping so am making a list!

    Just eating my lunch!

    Lisa x

Hmm, won;t let me post as says message is too short, lol!

Bedroom is nearly done... rug airing on the line, and I have scrubbed all the nasty black mouldy bits on the frame with surface cleaner and am leaving the windows open for it to air.

I have a feeling that I really need to replace the window, but I LIKE my 1950s wood & metal windows, and I certainly don't want to put a plastic one in. I would like to replace the cracked tiled windowsill with a wooden one though...

Just the dressing table to dust, the floor to wash (when I do the others) and the bed to remake (before I go to bed), so should be able to get to the spare room after lunch :D
