Oh no Valli...such a pain when that happens!

It's procrastination central around here. So far I've managed to:

    Checked bank balance
    Light a fire
    Change and dress small girl
    Put the dishwasher on
    Fold a few clothes!

That's pathetic for nearly 2 hours :rotfl:

Right I'm adding to what I've done!

    Checked bank balance
    Light a fire
    Change and dress small girl
    Put the dishwasher on
    Fold a few clothes
    Hung out dark load
    Taken white load out
    Put light coloured load on
    Made a coffee ;)

Seems like lots if I write everything down :rotfl: Is everyone else being productive then?

Who's sig was that Rainbow quote in originally, I know it was someone on here?

Oh dear. It must be, as I have been mostly reading here and I did see it recently. I just don’t remember where. Not good is it. Do I need to retrace my steps and seek permission first? Should I look for another great quote to use? What is the sig etiquette?
You were the first to mention it on this thread iriedaughter and as its in the public domain you can use it if you want - no need to change.

It wasn't me who had the rainbow quote originally, I just found it online and posted the link cos someone else couldn't remember it exactly.

I worked my signature out by thinking of a theme, then googling the theme, quotes. So, as last year was my return to flying, I googled cleaning quotes and this year my NYresolution was to be more positive, so I googled positive quotes. Hope that helps ragz.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

No. Not productive. I had a sleeper last night, as I was far too agitated to sleep. Consequently I woke up at 11 am, and I'm still in zombieclone land. I have had toast and tea, and put the cereal boxes away. And I still feel half asleep.

Justamum - how are you managing now you are off them ? Managing well I hope. I know it wont be plain sailing but like I said to OJ above I really hope to feel at least more energised and start to get a little bit more healthily.

I still suffer from depression. The tabs didn't help at all for that, but they did help my very severe anxiety 18 months ago when we were very nearly homeless. The underlying, long-term depression hasn't been touched :confused:

Justamum - be prepared for the hard grill from the TV licensing people! They will be round. They will be demanding entry. They will be saying you are watching TV (even when you're not!). Can you get rid of your TV and do the other stuff through PCs etc? The fact you have a TV in your house will say to them that you are actually using it to watch stuff you're not licenced for..

We're still keeping the tv, but the aerial will be coiled up and tied to prevent it being used, so if anyone does ask to see (but they'll need a warrant first :rotfl:) they can see the tv isn't being used to receive tv programmes.

Without giving medical advice, I was on Amitriptyline 140mg a day (this was also for pain so higher dose)

I'm sure my DH was on amitriptyline for his neuralgia. If it's the same thing, it made him very aggressive and he had very bad memory problems. In fact he seemed to have most of the side-effects listed (and there were lots of them)

DH is in one of his "I hate living in Britain" moods  He's going home in about 11 weeks, and I'm dreading him coming back. Maybe I should tell him not to bother.

We don't get bank holidays in this house unless Mr G takes the day off. He took this Christmas off but next year I think he's going to have to work 7-5 :( He's on nights at the moment which is alright usually but a pain keeping the children quiet!

You never know they might book him off. DH used to volunteer for Christmas shifts before we got married and had kids so that the family people could have the time off. Plus being BTP no trains run Christmas day so they booked as many off as they could, they had skelton shifts on only.

Still catching up but have run DW and unloaded, run TD and WM about to reload both of those. Have been helping Miss A start to declutter her room. Tend to have a mass clear up every now and then by chucking stuff in bags to sort 'later'! Well now is later so have been going through with other bags for charity, plastic recycling, paper recycling and rubbish. Think we are getting somewhere but it is going to be slow going. Have had Quo on in the background to help us along :D Ripped the new album to her pc as well ;)

That's a good point AnW'sMum...just got to get him to ask asap now! I can't see any point in hanging around waiting to ask. He's happy to wait, I want it done yesterday :rotfl: Do you want to come and help my DD1 with her room?

Maybe after they've had lunch and DD2 is napping I'll leave DS on the x-box and take DD1 upstairs to sort her bedroom. Need to do it quietly though!

    Afternoon all

Sorry not caught up yet. I've sorted out 2 bags for the charity shop so far today and a pile of stuff to ebay tomorrow.

Going to do a shopping list and get food/visit the sales/do a charity drop.

I'll catch up later - hope it is sunny where you all are.
