I was also thinking about the reclaiming back charges, i wrote to them last year and they said it was on hold, never heard anything back but was thinking i might try again. Is it true that if your were in receipt of benefits then you shouldn't be over charged? Alot of my charges were when me and DD were on our own and i wasn't working. I worked out at the time it was £2000 odd that the bank took, it would be some help if i got it back with getting the house sorted. Any advice would be great as i don't bank with that bank any more.
If you wrote to the bank then you are in the 'system' all charges reclaims are on hold until it has been decided on by the courts. Once the outcome is known then refunds (if that is what is decided) should follow. Just make sure you have copies of all correspondence if needs be.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -

JAN OFFER
I've just ordered my plaque off for the year for the cat, as it seems to be working as the vet said his teeth only have a little bit of plaque on them now, so hopefully it'll avoid us having to get him expensive dental treatment. It also works on dogs btw and as well as stopping the plaque, also freshens their breath. - sorry this sounds like a bit of an advert doesn't it. Oh well, I can assure you that I'm in no way affiliated with the company, just trying to be helpful.
My mother has this for her dogs and it doesn't work at all on them.. dachunds are particulalry known for excess plague and tooth problems.. but it is worth a try...LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
