Hawthorn are any of us close enough to come and chat when you need an ear? Or can you get out and escape to any of ours? You can't be far from me.. and Triker.. and Jayjay.. and Ashia... I'm just sneaking on here while everyone else is eating
Just done my ironing, so that's something else off the list.
The other day I cancelled the TV licence DD as we are losing our analogue signal in June. I got a phone call from the licensing people to say that they will be refunding any payments for the next licence, which means that our licence expires at the end of February. I told the children today that there will be no tv - on dvds and PS2 after that, which they seem fine about. We don't watch much anyway. I'm not going to risk watching without a licence after that because I can guarantee that they will send someone round just to check :rotfl:
I've not been able to properly read this thread, but I get the impression that WHS is in trouble?
Need to go again as someone wants my seat. :rolleyes:0 -

MAIREAD new username - you could just turn it back to front Dear I am ?0 -
boddy that sounds like a lovely treat - well done you have been very busy
pigpen - thank you for no list - I will play catch up
froddy in my HHC - I emptied and reloaded the DW - sorted out a load for washing and put it on- hand washed a few dishes - S&S the worktops - put new filter in my water fountain thingy and refilled it. Not too bad! Godd be better!!!!LOL
Hawthorn well honey I think thats pants and you should stop being such a nice person and start shouting at them all for support that they promised - get on the phone on monday and phone the hospital, the GP, the HV, the DN and anybody esle you can - be annoying if needs be but get the help you need.
mudbath lovely to hear you have finally had a bath- LOL that doesnt sound very good but you know what I mean!!!! I am getting very inspired by you and pigpen paying off your debts and am going to get busy.
Sorting out thats a great start and how brilliant to have a charity shop nearby - just keep plugging away at a little extra on top of your dailies and you will soon get it ship-shape - I know it doesnt sound possible but you will be amazed at the differnce in a couple of weeks from now! And yes 20 year old should def be doing her own room and helping around the house (IMHO). As pigpen said get rid of everyone else's stuff first then you know where you are.

If you are going tv-less.. there is bbc iplayer, 4od and itv.com where you can watch most stuff... and you don't need a licence as it is not live streaming.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Skintscotslass we do have an Ikea in Belfast which isn't that long open and first in NI:j must go up when i get the kids back to school and see what they can do. Do you know if i would need to book an appointment or would they just see us ??
You dont make an appt as such. I think if you can go in early mid week, you should be fine. Download the kitchen planner and work out what fits into your kitchen. Then you need to make a list and make sure you include everything, like handles, catches etc. Here is the linky
