DS (who is 7) is thrashing DH at pool on the wii - it's very funny xx0 -
Ooooh
I've just done a power-clean-up and acheived 3 bags of clothes for charity box (admittedly, a lot of these were in bags already and I just double checked) and they are away! - there's a charity shop across the road from us.
Also brought through a couple of boxes of MIL's old mantlepiecs sweepings which I'm about to go through. (you know, someone's coming to visit so you sweep everything on the mantlepiece into a bag.... well these go back centuaries)
Have to admit, I took one look at Kids bedroom and thought, Why on earth isn't my 20 year old helping out with this one?!?!? She is part of the cause of the mess. Grrrrrr. So left it and will put in a request for help later.
Thank you for encouraging posts!0 -

My DS has gone away for a week, so I'm less lonely cos of all you guys.
I'm so used to him being around ALL the time, as I homeschool him, and I only get about 3hrs a week when he goes to play snooker with his Dad.
It's so wierd, everyone else does all the xmas new year family stuff, and I get to be alone
Last year it felt sooo bad, but thanks to this thread and you guys, I feel much better about it, this time:Tsmoke-free since Aug 2003 :j JDWilliams [strike]£479.55 [/strike] [strike]£417.92[/strike] [STRIKE]£318.33[/STRIKE] £0.00NSD in Feb 1 so far Ambrose Wilson [strike]£464.49[/strike] [strike]£422.76[/strike] £405.11:T

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE :j
hope you all had lovely christmas times & celebrations. we had a great time, even everyone coming to us on boxing day seemed to go well, i didn't poison anyone & there was enough food & booze so all was well
we went to my dads for new year for a bit of a party & came back this morning (with plans to have a quick tidy & then play for the rest of the day) what we actually did was mop up the inch of water that was covering the kitchen, utility & hall floors
on the plus side, i now have clean (if slightly damp) carpets in those rooms, clean skirting boards / kickboards & the floors are decluttered. oh yeah, and dh has plumbed in the wm again (hopefully correctly this time :rotfl: )
got no great flying plans for the weekend other than getting us sorted for work/school on monday but will no doubt be popping on here from time to time
off to catch up on the thread now, hugs to all who need them (or just want them)

Got my first wage from work today... woohooo.
Not much of it left but hey-ho lol
ohhhh update.... NOT pregnant, AF turned up this morning. Bit mixed feelings about that atm tho!
Hi SummerMoon - Hows the J.O.B. going? Hope you're settled into your routine now - its sometimes nice to get out of the house eh!
How do you feel about not being pregnant then? Are you going to try now?
Just catching up on the thread (pg 78 at mo) and sorting out the last bits of our money still (Thanks SarahS - that was what I was looking for - it has the spreadsheet bit at the bottom - I just copied it into excel once it was done... knew it was there somewhere...) Need to sit down tomorrow and sort my car insurance - runs out Monday and don't want to continue with Churchills at the price they are quoting (although they'll probably come up with a cheaper one if I do it online... stupid eh!)
Have drawn out our Grocery Money for the week and am keeping it in a seperate purse now - will see what I have left at end of month and put it into savings - that's the plan anyway... am on a real savings frenzy now - I want to see money in the bank for emergencies and stuff we need (also stuff we want, but that can wait...) It's becoming a bit of a mission which is good I suppose....
Going to write a list now of stuff I have to do by Monday (not as big as Greenbees tho!) - I will be back on the flylist as of Monday as just really tidying/S&Sing around the house as I go at the moment so will need to get back on track, but really want to do these fiddly bits out of the way. catch you all in a bit...LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0
