sunrise - well done - they look brilliant :T
qwiksave...............oh if only I could knit..............my fingers just don't want to do it
I've been fiddling with my 'primitive' hearts, stars and trees. Started out using felt but the colours were a bit bright.............googled some images and they look better out of odd scraps.................found some in a box so had another go and they look ok (even OH approves) Mind you, hand sewing them with blanket stitch and putting a little bit of wadding in took a while..........and that was just the three hearts I'd done....... Oh well, just the trees and stars to go.......................lolI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Not having a good day here - not only can I not find the Go go hamsters for my daughters but after reading the thread last night I went shopping for some flannels for reindeer, chocolate chips, marshmallows, candy canes and some nice mugs for snowman soup, oh yes and fluffy socks for my daughter's friends for sock cupcakes.
After trawling round town and then Asda, Tesco, Matalan, and the Factory shop, for the above things I have still yet to find the flannels or candy canes. Can some one help and tell me where they found theirs! Boots had a couple of flannels but pink and over £1 each.
Thanks
I bought dark brown flannels in Wilkinsons and my candy canes came from superdrug and also the 99p shop. The 99p shop had two flavours cherry and mint. They were displayed with the Christmas section not with the other sweets in our store.0 -
