    Hi Whoopidoo,

I'm a newbie (so please forgive me for 'butting' in, but...) those coasters are stunning!!! ok, i admit i am an out and out '80's film fan and Labyrinth (along with the Lost Boys) is one of my top 5 films, but i have followed the link to your blog, read it twice, and still can't work out how you did it?! I would HONESTLY, be soooo happy if i received those as a gift, they are very special, and you should feel very proud of yourself for being such a clever and imaginative bunny!

righty-ho... back to my felt craft research... going to be dreaming about David Bowie all night now, sigh...

LOVE YOU! Thank you :o I attached the pictures to the back with Glossy Accents, wasn't sure if it would work but it did, was very chuffed. I very often dream about David Bowie :rotfl:

Love that Dammit doll. Hope this thread starts up nice and early next year as have told all my family and friends I am getting back to what Christmas should be about next year and they are all mainly getting homemade pressies ;):D

lil_p - that looks good - think will give it a go as I can't sew for toffee!! Well done!

Yeah, I'm the same - I know they don't have to be neat and that's the idea but I am better at knitting than sewing. It knitted up quite quick and the pattern is a freebie one available on the net. I would prob make his legs a bit longer though, as the sewn dammit dolls have longer legs, but he was just a prototype as there was no pic with the pattern!

He measures 16cm so is a good size for popping into a small container - I think a few people on here use gravy granule tubs!
  • Hi everyone,

i found some silicone ice moulds in the shape of thomas the tank engine and winnie the pooh characters so i thought i would make some individual chocolates and then wrap up nicely off my DD for family for christmas. the moulds were only a pound each and i think they look quite nice. i'll try and upload some photo's in a minute:D

They are lovely Kacy, I really want to have a go at one of those exploding boxes.

I tell you what else is fabulous, your cutting mat. How great to see one as battle scarred and splodged as mine is :D Whenever I see these pristine mats I look at my poor paint and glue splodged one and wonder where I went wrong! :D:D

LOL! The last thing I do before I photograph my efforts on here is clean up the cutting mat so people don't think I'm a slob! :D I've just used Henry Junior on sucking up glitter now! Here he is with his dad!:

I must admit I've been inspired by NEgirl's presentation technique, photographing the items with nice paper backgrounds, it makes them looks very professional.

My last efforts I photoed on my blog (the coasters) are sitting on my purple coat to try and disguise my crafty hurricane wrecked dining room :rotfl:

    Looooove little Henry! So cute!
