• Hello
Can I join in please, great thread. I bought a box of candy canes from Sainsburys for a pound. I 've bought some childrens basics t.shirts for 75 p from Asda and some felt and I'm going to applique some racing cars on them from the Cath Kidston Make book, for my little boy and two more for his pals for Christmas.
I'm also making a few cheeky chickens for pressies, using up scraps of fabric and filling them with rice but lavendar would be nice too I guess.
I'm also using up fabric making little Christmas trees.
JM
PS Could someone tell me how to upload photos please, and I'll show you some pics :)

Hey hun, i love your ideas :)
To upload images use a photo uploading site such as photobucket.com, upload to the site and then copy the link from below itand paste it over here (either the link with

does anyone know any other poem for the box of hugs the one I have is this one.... is there one for love? i wanted to make one today from the kids to my mother.

This is a very special gift
That you can never see
The reason it's so special is
It's just for you from me.

Whenever you are lonely
Or are ever feeling blue
You only have to hold this gift
And know I'm hugging you.

You never can unwrap it
Please leave the ribbon tied
Just hold the box close to your heart
It's filled with hugs inside.

The one i know for love is exactly the same but instead of hugging it says loving and instead of hugs inside its love inside...:o
