Just spent the afternoon cutting copies of photos of little grandson to fit his pooh bear album............then found there were three I didn't get to copy and put in.............oh well, nearly there.........:o

Had root through my cupboard looking for something and found little christmas decoration I bought a little while back.............small flower pot painted cream with large-ish fir cone in it with a bit of gold paint on the edges, bit of plastic ivy and it looks a treat. Think I'll have to have a go at making a few of them
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hi everyone, I've been lurking here for a while gradually ploughing my way through and have got so much inspiration for Christmas this year, thanks so much! I've just moved into my first house so money for Christmas will be a bit tight so I'm planning on making nearly all my presents this year.
So far I've managed to make snowman soups, a herd of flannel reindeer, cookie mix in a jar, knitted a scarf, a sock monkey and a handbag. Phew, that's a lot for me! And all from ideas from this thread so thanks again!
Also planning on making more foody things a bit nearer the time :)
I have a quick question for you pros out there, what's the best way you've found to present/wrap your flannel reindeer when you give them as gifts?
    Thanks in advance!

    Help!
For DD1 b'day party we're having a cooking theme so as a take home gift I was thinking of doing Smarties Cookies In A Jar but don't really want to give all those 7yo girls glass jars.
I have some gift bags which comfortably holds 3 cups of flour (I measured it!) but I can't find a recipe for that quantity.
Does anyone have one for that or one that can be scaled?
Also the instructions always seem to be US and I'd live a UK version.

    Can anyone help out?

    Thanks

Do you have a 99p store near you? Mine have some plastic containers with coloured lids that you could use (I hope to for mine )
They don't say how much they can hold but these are the measurements -
7 1/2" tall including lid, 4 1/4" wide and 13 1/2" round  was never very good at maths lol :o

Loving those cupcakes!! Not sure I'd have the patience though.

Here's what DD1 and I made this week....these ones are for birthday pressies but the rest of her friends will be getting them for Christmas....DD1 drew out the pattern and cut everything out, I was allowed to sew them up but she did the stuffing and finishing bits...we were quite pleased with them
