I have loads of them to make and not sure if i can afford to buy so many mugs, although b&m have lovely christmas ones 2 for £1.
I ordered 'medium' cones from ebay, they were about a foot long, give or take?
I thought they were going to be loads too big, but once full and with a bit at the top for decoration, they aren't really, about 4 or 5 good heaped spoons of choc powder more than half filled them (to the half point, not to capacity).
I'm going to give 2 people pairs of Christmas mugs, but nothing to do with the cones which go into my hamper separately.
I ordered 50 cones and made up 20+ so it was worth me buying them, but if you use mugs, you don't need cones, and if you're only making a couple it might work out cheaper for you to make them directly into the mug - though you will need cellophane or a bag to put the complete mug in.Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?
Please consider buying some pet food and giving it to your local food bank collection or animal charity. Animals aren't to blame for the cost of living crisis.0 -

Have you thought about getting some off cuts of wood and wrapping them up. Haven't read the verse but if it mentions box you could perhaps tweak it. Years ago we made these with the guides and went to a wood yard and got offcuts of wood and did very similar things. Kate :hello:0 -
