  • Hmm...have been having a look at all the fab ideas on here. I have already started getting a few bits to put away for Christmas.

This year I am going to make:
    Snowman Soup
Pots of Gold for the kids (nieces and nephews) and maybe some adults
    Scarfs for the kids
Am going to try and get some personalised things made like coasters.
    Decorated photo frames/glass items.
    Collages (maybe!)
Homemade chocolate items/sweets/biscuits and mince pies.
Hampers for close family things like coffee and chocolate.
Reading hamper as my friend is a bit of a book worm! Probably with a handmade bookmark and biscuits.

And lots and lots of gift tags, just at the FIL and he has donated his to the cause! A nice sit down job for me tonight

Have just been to the library for some inspiration and have two books, after a good browse in bed later I will begin tomorrow.
I am thinking that to go with the giant wooden dice I bought in the sale at Homebase I will try and make an applique snakes and ladders board

  • Hi

I've just came across these and decided that I am definately going to be making these for xmas gifts, I think they are brilliant:D I love the way you can add hair etc to them to make them a bit more funky:rotfl: I think they will be simple enough for anyone to make and they can be machine or hand sewn:D In fact I think we should start a thread with all the pics of our dammit dolls:D

some good ideas on this site with handy videos. The candy cane mice might be good for children's gift tags or stocking fillers
