  • JailhouseBabe - I love the idea of making drawstring bags for the dolls to go in.

For those interested in making the dammit dolls check out Etsy for some inspiration and ideas. Just type dammit doll in the search bar.

mary43- you could do all different sized dammit dolls to fit in the containers you have. If you are using the template on the link for the dolls just enlarge or reduce on a photocopier- most post offices will have a photocopier to use for a small fee.

For those people with limited sewing skills - you could make the dolls from felt, the edges with stay neat and you could blanket stitch around the edge with co-ordinating thread.

the whisk full of chocolates could be filled with marshmallows too and wrapped to attach to a mug or snowman soup

another cute idea for a gift tag or to add to snowman soup

I'm thinking of doing the whisks with chocs this Xmas.

I love this idea for decorating photo frames- could also be used for scrap booking and card making.

I bought a couple of frames in the BHS sale just before Xmas and am going to decorate them with Prima paper flowers and pop a photo in of my boys. Nice cheapie pressie ;)

princesspoppy - thanks. If I do mine to fit in a gravy granule tub I can easily fit them inside shoe boxes with other stuff I want to do. Makes for easier posting. Can always do larger ones for the twiglet tubes..........at last I've found a use for them...............lol

. I got a lovely medium shaped heart box in hobbycraft yesterday and have just applied the first coat of hot pink acrylic paint to it and it looks great!I got the box as I make silk lingerie and the box is just the right size for presenting the lingerie in Poppy x

Just love the thought of silk lingerie in a heart shaped box

  • janey - where your username is at the top of the page (telling you that you're logged in), click on 'User CP' just below that and it will show you threads that you've recently posted on. On the left-hand side there's a section for subscriptions, click on 'List Subscriptions' and you'll see that you're already subscribed to this thread (because you've posted on it). There's a check-box on the right-hand side that you can check if you'd like to receive notifications whenever anyone adds a post to the thread.

Hope that was easy to understand! I'm guessing someone else will post a much simpler example!
