Is that the clear plastic stick-on sheet type that you cut to fit or is it custom-fit for the Micromaxx?

I have tomtom5 working puurfectly on PDA following the instructions in this thread...Shows signal strength etc. If you follow them EXACTLY - they work. PM me if you need more info.
Also, if you goto https://www.mapopolis.com you can get free gps software and 'evaluation' maps for the USA and Europe for sort of free-ish as a demo - I navigated round florida in summer with these maps on a SPV200 phone and bluetooth GPS - It works even better with this PDA!!! Maps expire after 8 days - but you just copy them back onto the SD card and evaluate them again - I hope this doesn't affect any copyrights?0 -
"PompeySteve - How did you get on with the WIFI Card?
Pretty darn sweet actually !
I'm writing this on the pda right now... Speed is pretty good and I'm well chuffed with it"
I had a look on ebay, the most popular sd wifi card seems to be made by Safecom however there are reports elsewhere that this card is not compatible with ms pocket pc 2003.
As this is the operating system I use on my Aldi provided MD PPC150 I just wondered which card you are using.0 -

Hi,
Yep that is the one I got and I'm happily using it on my MD PPC150 (Windows Mobile 2003). Sometimes the touchpad stops responding and needs a quick power off/on but aside from that it's a breeze. I think Safecom are aware of some driver issues as their support site has some info on the card and are asking for user feedback for people with problems.
Hope this helpsThis space for rent0 -
