You can do it DeeDee - there looks like a lot of work in that list though.

I didn't read the instructions carefully and DS's passport photograph was in black and white and not colour. So I have to get another photo taken and it re-signed. It's going to take me all week to get this passport sorted at this rate.

Wow! New life in the old thread!

Wilf55, have you thought about investigating any trust funds or even local sponsorship for your son? There might be a wealthy person in your area with an interest in Golf/young people.

    Hi wilf55 :)
I don't know if this is of any help to you at all but what about something like Betterware to help you earn 40-50 pound a week? I am doing this to save for my wedding and though it can be hard work it's actually simple to do and I enjoy the exercise,(a bit of body toning for me for my honeymoon ;) ). You go at your own pace and I personally chose Betterware because you don't pay for anything! You don't pay to start, don't pay for catalogues, stationary - you don't even pay for delivery! You just go out there and earn your money :)
    Good luck :)
    Jenny :)
P.s. Please don't think I am trying to recruit because as I'm not a co-ordinator I can't - just wondering if it is a possible solution for you :)

    Hi wilf,

I was wondering whether fundraising was an option, perhaps a sponsored' 'pick up litter' in the area, or a garage sale. You could set DS a target to aim for.

I am not sure of the rules here, but in our area, a smart, young person showing some initiative, walking around the area with a bit of a blurb about themselves and their ambitions on a sponsor form, would go down extremely well.
