Sounds like a plan JennyJewell, keep us posted! I'm sure you can accomplish your goal. What's your first step?

It does feel great when a long outstanding task is completed and you can move on to the next one.

    All the best.

  • Thank goodness you are doing this again Scrooge! It helps me a lot eg I need to make more of collecting Tesco points, also have to renew son's passport and fill out my VAT return to get some money back and also a tax rebate. Days keep passing and these things dont get done but when I read your list it is such a great reminder and motivation so please dont go away again.

Hi Jenny Jewel and DC. I am definitely going to have a less cluttered house soon thanks to ebay! A box a week is dissappearing and some extra cash coming in. We now have space under some beds, still can't walk fully around mine yet though!!

Fantastic wilf55, it's great to have company. I don't think I have every managed to complete a Flylady list. You must be very proud of your son, it's lovely to hear that he is doing so well.

There's going to be no stopping you, I can tell....

DeeDee - great to hear from you too. The diary didn't work nearly as well as my daily list on here. There's something about posting on here each day that keeps me focussed, not sure what it is, but it seems to work. It sounds like you are doing really well on ebay, that's great.

    Here we go again:-
    The 3 Must Do's:-
    - DT/RB x 5
    - Ebay - Iron clothes and wash any that still need doing
    - Mystery shop
    Plan for today:-
    06.00 - 07.15 - Cleaning job
07.15 - 08.15 - Dress to shoes, family up and out
08.15 - 09.00 - Pick up kids, Lollypop (cancel appointment with Tracey)
09.00 - 11.00 - Coffee with friend get her DH to sign photo for DS's passport - need to get a colour photograph done. (Done it now).
    11.00 - 12.00 - Early lunch - salad and baked potato
12.00 - 14.30 - Catch up time - Spent most of the time looking at money making phone opportunities and bought a couple of phones that should generate £20.00 - £30.00 profit.
    - Iron ebay clothes
    - Hoover hall/stairs and landing
    - Clean out shoe cupboard
    - Make beef caserole for tonight's tea
    - Flylady tasks - kitchen -
    - Scrub down your counter top
    - Clean under the sink
    - Print off mystery shop information
    -14.30 - 15.30 - Lollypop
    - DT/RB x 5 (ended up reading mystery shop information)
-15.30 - 17.00 - Do mystery shop and pick up some half price gammon while there/popcorn
    -17.00 - 19.00 - Get things organised for Wednesday
    - DS's homework
    - Clothes and sandwiches
    - Passport application filled in
19.00 - Family film and popcorn evening
21.00 - Chill further with my new book.
    22.30 - bed

Quite a lot of yesterday's stuff to do, so I've moved a non-essential appointment until next week, so as not to feel any stress.

Well, not done as much as I had intended. I think, I try and stick too much into the hour or so in the afternoon before I go back to the Lollypop post. In reality, that hour is usually spent on here and often looking for a money making opportunity. For example today I bought a couple of phones that I'll re-sell to generate about £12.00 profit each. I work well in the morning, but housework does not work in that afternoon slot, so I will try rejigging things a bit.

    New business - 0/£100.00
    Tesco Points - 6000 points - 1000/6000
    Selling Gold - £35/35.00
    Total - £157.00/430.00

  • Wow! New life in the old thread!

Wilf55, have you thought about investigating any trust funds or even local sponsorship for your son? There might be a wealthy person in your area with an interest in Golf/young people.

    Today I am going to:

Fill out son's passport renewal form
    Fill out VAT return
    Phone about tax rebate
Try and list 3 things on ebay/gumtree

    Tiny list I know!
