    Hi,

12.49 and about 50% there. I have spent a lot of time on the phone to my mum this morning. My mum and dad live separately in Essex and both need a lot of support and i'm up in Edinburgh, so it is quite challenging. My sisters are great though.

I am filling out Attendance allowance forms for her at the moment, and they are a bit of a minefield. I think I will get some advice to ensure I fill them in correctly.

Great to see you on the weight loss thread. I think the service part of the bike overhaul was £35.00, the wheels were £55.00. Your diet and fitness plan sounds fun.

I could never survive on 5 hours of sleep, you must have loads of energy. I'm up early but usually in bed shattered at around 10.00 pm.

    Off we go again :).

Half way there is great - means you are closer to your goal than you were this morning.

I know what you mean about form filling. I also help my parents by doing their paperwork and it can be so baffling at times.

I live not too far from Essex. It must be lovely living in Scotland. I have travelled to lots of exotic places and still haven't got to Scotland yet. Although it is on my list of places to visit within the next two years.

Yep, got lots of energy but rarely use it productively! I am determined to turn that around now.

OK, I'm off to work on my list.

    Ciao for now

    x

Wilf you've done tons, you are too hard on yourself.

Looking forward to seeing a sea of black there tonight micron, we're watching you :rotfl:.

All day to have a facial - bliss .... I think we'd all do that if we could. Maybe you already have the perfect life :).

Wilf, poor you. I am not surprised you are tired. Just a thought, if you wake up around 4am, instead of struggling to get back to sleep get up and do something off your list, that will surely tire you and make you want to go back to bed and if it doesn't at least you have completed something that you wouldn't have to do during the day (means you could have a little power nap in the afternoon - if possible).

I know you have got lots and lots to do today but if you are really tired at the moment. Set your alarm and take a 15 min nap it really will give you the energy to charge through your list.

Keep smiling...its all for a good purpose.

Another go at getting these things finished. I need Saturday and Sunday morning free to gut the house ready for visitors, one of whom is asthmatic and allergic to dust and cats . I have my work cut out as usual :rotfl:.

    Update

Things seemed to flow pretty well today, I just ran out of shopping time, if only the shops had been open longer.

The things in red are not urgent and will now need to wait until next Thursday, as I will be taking a few days holiday when the visitors come, to spend some time with them.

Tomorrow will be Flylady heaven day :A.

I just googled the golf tournament too. Sandwich is about 5 miles away from where we stayed in Deal last week. We actually cycled to sandwich one day and had a day there walking around and doing geocaching. It seemed a really nice place. I love it around that area.

I can't believe we have been home nearly a week. It has been a hard one, as we have had time without water, and electric has been intermittent, but we seem to be getting a bit further on. The bath is in. The walls are nearly tiled. They need grouting, and the last layer on the top and bottom. Floor and ceiling need sorting next though. I think we will be looking at the end of next week before we get there with it.

I have tried my best to keep on top of stuff this week but it has been hard and the kids have found it very restrictive. I have done loads today.
    • put out all recycling
    • bought car tax
    • paid next months council tax
    • paid credit card bill
    • cleaned fridge
    • went to Drs to pick up my prescription, then chemist to pick up the pills. (used loo while there. ;))
    • went to frozen food cheap shop up the road
    • came back and put away the food
    • brought in the box and bin
    • hoovered living room, kitchen, hall, stairs and landing, entrance to the bedrooms where the mess had travelled.
    • hoovered out the pantry.
    • did one load of washing, hung out when workman left as he was cutting tiles and sending dust everywhere and set up right under my washing line.
    • cooked dinner for us and the kids.
    • tidied up all the kids toys.
    • did some pruning in the garden - about 2/3 filled the wheelie bin with the waste.
Crazy. The more i do the more i think of that i need to get done. We now have two days with no more work going on. :D I am planning on having a bit of a chill out tomorrow morning and not getting dressed straight away. I am already fed up of the process. We debated going straight into the kitchen refurb that is next on the cards, but we have decided we will wait till October for that for our sanity. It isn't that far away though.
