Oh dear scrooge, at least you gave it a try. Your DS obviously knew the outcome before you did. I'm impressed that you gave it a go.

Your list for today puts me to shame. I think you have nearly the same amount listed that I have for my weekly list! You must be so disciplined with your time.

I have to hold my hand up and say that I have had a really lazy day today and not got down to the things that I should have done. The intention was there when I work up but then I had a little pity party and lost all sense of motivation to get on with it. I suppose there are still a few more hours left in the day for me to turn it around.

Hope everyone is having a great day.

    Hi there,

The list was a lot longer than what was accomplished.

Dear friend had made me a delicious lunch, which I wasn't expecting, so that blew the grapefruit diet before it had hardly begun. Will start again tomorrow.....

Also the service on DS's bike cost £90.00 . Both wheels were buckled and needed replacing. I am sure it would have been cheaper to service a Ferrari.

Week and finances not going to plan, will keep smiling :rotfl:.

Loads to do today. I went to bed at 6.00 pm last night and slept for a solid 12 hours.

I should have already got started, but I have been busy reading MSE threads.

    Left over from yesterday:-

    [STRIKE]Grapefruit detox day 1 - started again[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Sparkpeople[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Invoices to AS and Tern[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]DS holiday project work [/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Tidy house[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Send more information to Solicitors re: client[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Work on action points for IC [/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Check IC has paid me[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Check accounts[/STRIKE]

    [STRIKE]Phone Chris[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Update ebay[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]The Shred[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Post letters[/STRIKE]

All needs to be done before 12.30 pm TOOK UNTIL 5.00 pm with a few interruptions

    Lunch

Then from 13.30 pm:- Now for tomorrow afternoon

Go to Halifax and transfer money over and close an account
Go to Nationwide and transfer money over and close an account
Shopping - buy bag with insurance money
Pick up shoes that have been rehealed
Take in dress and trousers to get hems taken up
    Take rubbish to the tip
Chase up insurance company regarding window replacement
Pick up DS bike from servicing shop
Drop of DH bike at the servicing shop
New pillows for guests arriving on Sunday

If I can do this lot then it frees me up to get the house in tip top shape for first set of visitors coming on Sunday.

This house is going to be a bit like a B&B through July and August with visitors coming and going.

I must stay focused, I must stay focused.

wow scrooge, another day with lots for you to do. 12 hours sleep you sure must have needed the rest. I'm not surprised considering how much you get done during the day plus you were decorating this week at MIL. I wish I could sleep for long. I only sleep for 4 hours, 5 if I am really lucky. You would think that because I don't need much sleep I would get lots done... well unfortunately not. I suppose that's down to me getting myself more organised. I promise myself that before the year is over I will definitely be more organised and up-to-date with everything that needs doing.

£90 for the servicing of your DS's bike sounds steep but at least he now has new and safe wheels. I panicked a bit when I saw the cost as I need to take my bike in for servicing as well. I haven't ridden it for years and decided with my new health regime and the glorious weather we have been having I should get it out of the garage and start using it. OK, I'll have to put that on my list for next week.

So its 12:20pm, how are you getting on with your morning chores? Bet you have crossed most if not all of them off by now. I think I may start calling you Mrs O (Mrs Organised) from now on!

Good luck with the grapefruit diet. I have decided that I am going to start on Monday as next week is a brand new week for me regarding fitness and diet. I have finally subscribed to Lou's weightloss thread and will be weighing myself over the weekend. I am gradually building up the courage to step on the scales. I will also continue with the Shred, play the odd game of squash and hopefully get on my bike!

Wilf, I am glad you "managed" 5 mins but come on you deserve a little longer than that ;). Hope you have managed to get through lots more today.

    Hi,

12.49 and about 50% there. I have spent a lot of time on the phone to my mum this morning. My mum and dad live separately in Essex and both need a lot of support and i'm up in Edinburgh, so it is quite challenging. My sisters are great though.

I am filling out Attendance allowance forms for her at the moment, and they are a bit of a minefield. I think I will get some advice to ensure I fill them in correctly.

Great to see you on the weight loss thread. I think the service part of the bike overhaul was £35.00, the wheels were £55.00. Your diet and fitness plan sounds fun.

I could never survive on 5 hours of sleep, you must have loads of energy. I'm up early but usually in bed shattered at around 10.00 pm.

    Off we go again :).
