Welcome back Michelle. Hope you enjoyed your time away. Sorry to read that you have not had water/electricity when you got back home but just keep telling yourself when it is all done you can have a long relaxing soak in your new bath and enjoy your totally revamped bathroom.

I see you have got stuck right into it. You sure did get a fair bit done today. Well done you.

Two days to do this lot, but that should set me up for the rest of the summer:-

I'm going to plod away alternating 30 minutes of work with 30 minutes of fun starting at 8.00 am.
    94/145 = 64% and 7 hours

Update: 7 hours solid work and 7 hours solid play and 64% accomplished, although Kim and Aggy would be impressed with the results. When the whole house has been done I am going to seriously rethink how I approach housework. I spend far too much time doing it for too little results.

Great to have you back Cha, busy as ever.

Bathrooms and kitchens seem to take forever, but like micron said, they make such a difference when they are done.

We spent a couple of years totally refurbishing this house, and I only did the very minimal cleaning as it seemed a total waste of time. In fact one of my visitors at the time, gave me a wall plaque, as a parting gift that said,

"You can touch the dust but please don't write in it."

You've done really well on your list micron, I am sure it feels great to see the tasks disappearing. Sorry to hear about you ankle though, Jillian can wait.

I'll be watching .... i'm excited for you. I wish we were having the same glorious weather in Scotland. Unfortunately it is cold and wet up here. I hope it clears up in time for the Open Championship in St Andrews, but the forecast isn't great.

Have a fab time and plaster yourself with suncream :).

We found there was a nice grassy area by the quay side that was a little cooler. Necessary to sit out od it a bit in this heat.

All the work yesterday left me shattered. I only woke at 9:30 even though the kids woke at more like 6:30. Plan today is that the garden needs tackling, so i might leave some of that like grass cutting to DH while i tackle some ironing. I don't want my hayfever getting any worse.

I can always watch some stuff of the digi bix while i do it so it won't be too bad. Just a bit hot.
