Well its a long time since I have been on here. During may I made an overpayment of £240 to the mortgage. We are planning to make small overpayments as we keeping the savings for the other things later in the year.

Need to use some money for our holidays which is in 3 weeks and cannot wait. I am also 16 weeks pregnant and due Not 2 child late November so we will have to go out pram and drawer shopping and have some money for use during maternity leave.

I still plan to pay as much off the mortgage as we can whilst still having a nice family life together.

Well its been a while since I was on here. Been making overpayments on the mortgage and its coming down nicely.

June paid £240 overpayment to the mortgage
July paid £290 overpayment to the mortgage
Aug will be paying £240 overpayment to the mortgage next week.

Need to get back to monitoring the mortgage situation and taking note of the mortgage amount at the end of August. At least I know its the amount is coming down and will try to bring down as much as possible before November.

Holiday was great and DD enjoyed. Pregnancy going ok. Pram and baby drawers ordered. At the moment hubbie is decorating the kitchen and we hope to have a new kitchen floor laid soon (fingers crossed this month).

Will try to keep this updated in the future at least until November.
