Really chuffed as phoned up Scottish hydro about our high credit in electric and gas and we have resigned up for an online deal - which means our monthly payment is being reduced by £20, getting a money paid back into our account due to the high credit. Also did not realise that we have a argos card which they have put money on so they are sending another card out to us and I can use this to spend against an expenditure.MFIT T2 Challenge - No 46

Had a bad day yesterday with 3 bouts of pain but today not too bad. Hubbie went to the BS to make another overpayment of £200 to the mortgage making the total overpayment for November to be £700.MFIT T2 Challenge - No 46

Great overpayments Lynn. Sorry to hear you're having such an uncomfortable time with the kidney stones - be nice to yourself and allow your OH to pamper you!

Well the total overpayment for the month of november is £700
1st July mortgage £115322.37/daily interest £13.57/monthly
1st Aug mortgage £113872.36/daily interest £13.43
31st Aug mortgage £112801.16/daily interest £13.30
30th Sept mortgage £111661.99/daily interest £13.14
31st Oct mortgage £110542.34/daily interest £13.02
30th November £109445.31/daily interest £12.88
The balance is certainly coming down quite nicely at the moment since I am using money received from an old endowment to overpay extra every month.
Downstairs toilet still not completely finished but in use and we will deal with this in the new year as waiting for FIL to do the wall and the snow is certainly not helping.
Most of christmas shopping done but still got a few things to buy so hopefully the snow will clear up in the next few weeks and I can get the rest otherwise a few folk will get IOU's.
Car has not moved from the street since Monday, and lots of cars are having problems going up or down the hill - at least Im facing down the hill. Not at work yesterday or today as school is closed so we will see what happens tomorrow but it is snowing on and off still today.
tomorrow night is supposed to be work's xmas night out - will not be going and luckily BB have postponed their coffee morning on saturday. We have a few cakes which I baked for this but we will just have to eat these.
I need to get into town when snow clears to close my regular saver as on a rubbish rate now and its christmas money so will be replacing the money taken from another account and also try to do the overpayment of the mortgage before the snow decides to come again.
The snow was nice to start with but now DD is just wanting to stay in to play as its too cold out. She liked sledging Sat,Sun and Monday but not now.MFIT T2 Challenge - No 46

Well had a trip into nearest town and made overpayment of £500 to part 1 and £220 to part 2 of the mortgage on saturday. There is a bit of money left if we can get out to make another overpayment but we will see what happens.
School was closed to kids on friday but we had to travel in - anyway managed to get out of the estate and the main roads were clear. Out trying to finish my christmas shopping on saturday.
Today - we had snow blizzards all day until 3pm and there is more snow on the roads and I have heard that its chactic on all roads around here - central belt of scotland. Hubby went into work as not there all last week and was advised by e-mail to get in - anyway it made it there - scary drive he says - but he is staying over in the office as the motorways are closed due to the weather.
Today we walk along the street to my cousin so DD had company to play and I had company to chat - it was nice once we got there.
Do not think we are going anywhere tomorrow but need to pop out to get milk - will need to assess if I go myself or try to go to local shop with DD tomorrow. Hope it starts to clear up as got work on wednesday but we hear it will be freezing over.MFIT T2 Challenge - No 46

Well last week school was closed wed and thurs so only worked friday. This week we are back to normal even though we had snow today - nightmare getting back in the traffic and was later than usual to collect DD from nursery.
DD ended up with the dreaded sickness bug over the weekend so not herself and we had to postpone our trip to see santa on monday as she was still unwell. Hubbie is finishing work tomorrow so we will go to see santa on tuesday. I only work next wed and thursday and finish for xmas - cannot wait!!!
DD went xmas nursery trip to see santa and loved it. She is getting really excited about christmas coming and hope that the weather clears up a bit so that we can visit my parents for christmas dinner.
As we paid the full £500 toward part 1 we got a letter from nationwide to say that our monthly payment is reduced by approx £23. Will not be doing this again for a while. Will amend the term when we remortgage in 2012 if we can afford the payments.MFIT T2 Challenge - No 46

Made the final overpayment for December of £50 giving a total for december overpayment is £770.
Managed to save roughly about £307 in my sealed saving pot which I started last december and this was paid towards the mortgage - I did better than last year, so fairly chuffed about this.
No doubt January will be tight as both hubbie and I have been paid this week. Hope you all have a nice christmas and I am looking forward to friday christmas eve and of course seeing DD face on christmas day.MFIT T2 Challenge - No 46
