I would like to stay in the UK I think.....Dorset. I just love the place and spent many a happy year on holiday in the area.
If I did have to chose somewhere out of the country, it would possibly be New Zealand.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

Couple of blokes in my work out there for 6 months, they reconed it was bonkers. Stories like walking beers going to work and the "taxi" system(1) meant the temperature was the least of their problem, i thought it sounded fun.
(1) they say you just had to barter with a local driving about and pray they wernt totally !!!!ed0 -

The school trip was fairly carefully monitored, I believe, but she did get lost for a short while in a marketplace, which was a bit scary.
The architecture and historical context was fabulous and they went to the Bolshoi. Missed Lenin, though, he was having his wash and brush up.
Of course, there had to be some western influence - a McDonalds !!0 -
It would depend how rich I was, but almost certainly I'd just move to somewhere nice in the UK. I'm having daydreams at the moment about doing this up and re-opening it as a retreat style hotel, intimate sort of home-cooking job.
