To be honest I wouldn't move, but if I had to, then Australia. I went there a couple of years back and absolutely loved the place.

Or Italy, if I could only speak Italian!

I love where I live in a country park. Lovely view, lovely people, lovely cosy house, 1 mile from shops and transport

    I am not moving anytime

    I really like where I live too:D

If I win the lotto I will be buying my mansion within a few miles of where I am now.
  • I would really like to up sticks and move to France, down in the Pyrenees. I'd be happy with a really simple life - living in a caravan on a little bit of land with some hens & my dog. I do a lot of crafts and am thinking about doing a TEFL course so that I could get work teaching English (I'm fluent in french). If anyone has done this or has got any tips, hints, ideas, experience they could share, I'd be very grateful. PM me if you don't want to discuss in forum.

With enough money, I'd go halfsies - split my time between here and the Philippines. Fantastic, undiscovered beaches / diving. General high standard of living. Great food. etc...

I've spent so long thinking about this and really can't think of anywhere I would trade England in for .... the richness of history and culture, the beauty of the countryside and even the diversity of weather.

However enchanting other places are, I'm sure the grass isn't greener and I would get bored in the end. I have to believe that sooner or later we'll sort out some of the problems we have that, at the moment, seem intractable.

Either way, I'm sticking with England. Other countries are only for visiting.
