Here is my plan for the day. The problem I am having at the moment is that I plan a nice menu and eat it all - then go mad in the evenings and nibble nibble nibble:mad::o
Can't see me losing weight this week:(
Breakfast - eggs, bacon and hashbrowns (free+4.5 syns)
Lunch - Butternut Squash soup, home made (free)
Dinner - Roast beef, carrots, cauliflower and jacket potatoe (free)
syns - have already had a slice of stollen and a slice of dundee. sigh - luckily it is now all gone:o
Love

okay then......reporting back fomr my first commando session!
Well it was -3 degrees on the way to the beach and -4degrees when I got there. I very, very nearly drove home again, but to prove a point (my friend bet me I wouldn't even get out of bed!!!) I stayed.
My ears fell off:rotfl: and I now ache all over!
Basically it was like a session with a personal trainer but in a small group of seven of us. So Marc, the instructor got us to jog about the beach for a bit to warm up (I walked most of the way!) and then different reps of sit ups, weights, lunges etc.
I didn;t think I would enjoy it but it was a bit of a giggle, nice group of people so Saturday mornings here I come!
I need to up my fitness level quite a lot so has anyone got any tips on starting off running??? Weights and crunches etc, although hard work, arent really a problem for me its the running! I do suffer from short tendons so any advice re that too would be gratefully received!
I am very pleased with myself that I did the session and I refused a mince pie with my cup of tea after!!:j :j Well, I had half and then decided I really didn't want it so I put it the bin!
Hope you guys are all well!sealed pot challange #572!Garden fund - £0!!:D£0/£10k0 -
Well had a slight disaster on Thurs at a leaving do involving curry and beer, though I'm straight back on the straight and narrow. Am supposed to be doing two 2 mile runs this weekend to atone but the thick frost is most discouraging. Mambury your determination is putting me to shame. May compromise today with a brisk 2 mile walk.0

Hi All
Walked 4k this morning. We usually run 5k but the other two are both getting over the flu and it was freezing! Glad we went though.
Really weird later on - my OH, two of our kids and me dragged the christmas tree to the park to be recycled and it snowed! Not so strange you might think but we are in the heart of London where it hardly ever snows! Kids were very happy whilst I was very cold.
I'll try to join in hte 4pm HHE on the Wii Fit - depends if son's girlfriend is still here (she is the size of a very slim stick!) .I would if I could but I can't so I won't!0 -
Happy birthday for yesterday kpc. Hope you had a good one. Your weekly timetable of activity left me needing another half hour on the sofa just contemplating it:eek:
.
Wecome to MadFG & JD. JD - bit concerned at you feeling hungry a lot - that must mean you are not eating enough and this is not sustainable. My guess is my feb you may well back to eating what ever you can: no one can sustain deprevation. And assuming you are a man, I thought your calorie intake looked a little low: have you researched what calories you 'should' be on?
Thanks for continued offers to help with the chart :T - I will shout when you are required:D .
I had a lousy food day yesterday. Well, a very nice food day really but not if you are trying to lose weight. Suffice to say I declared this day one for myself.
This may be a little tricky as we are replacing our kitchen sink and worktop today so can't use the kitchen as usual. I would like to formally apologise to all the women I thought in my 20's must be very dull to get excited over a kitchen make over:o . I am now one of those women:rotfl:
Marion - sympathy re the nibbling and nothing useful to offer I'm afraid, other than to find something low synned to nibble...which is stating the obvious of course. I don't think this cold weather helps.
Some great exercise going on:T . Love the sound of going commando:rotfl: .
Kiki - delighted at your loss. I think sw is unfathomable and you just have to take it on 'faith' that a lot of work must have gone into refining the nutritional balance and the proof is, if you follow it, it works.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Sounds like everyone is busy with their HHE's. I have done loads of housework today so hopefully that will help.
Bad day at work yesterday, loads of Christmas chocs and biscuits etc still lurking and I had avoided them all week, then yesterday I had a chocy biscuit at break which led to another at lunch and then another at afternoon break. I felt that I had let myself down, but they were good!Jane 21120 -
Jane don't feel like you have let yourself down over a few choccy biscuits, life is for living :j I think the housework more than makes up for it, join in some HHE's that'll make you feel better :TCross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0

I've done an easy half hour on the exercise bike today, that's my weekly calorie burn quota of 2000+ done. I'll post my weekly summary tomorrow when I know if I'm doing anything else or not.
Thanks for the review Mambury! Well done and too right you should feel pleased!!! Great to hear you're making it a regular thing! As for running, I started off by alternating walk/jog intervals over a set distance (5K) and gradually increasing the jogging element. If the short tendons are a concern probably best to check with your Doctor before starting and see what they advise? Best to be safe.
BB - snap, I'm doing my kitchen tooSink and oven done so far - more to follow, gradually! Love my new oven, the old one was older than some of the posters on this thread

Been for my 2 mile walk. It was freezing but beautiful out. Am now enjoying a low points snack of blueberries and zero fat greek yoghurt before tackling my ou assignment. Fingers crossed for tomorrow's weigh in that the exercise has countered my food mistakes this week.0

Well, I unwittingly joined in on the 4pm HHE as I took myself out for a brisk walk despite the pouring rain and gales blowing in my face. It certainly blew away any cobwebs I may have had - very bracing and I feel brilliant.
Eating hasn't been according to plan but it's not been as disasterous as it could have been. I'm back at work next week so I'll restart the plan from them but I do intend to WI for the chart next week.
Mambury - your commando session sounds ace! I'm glad you'll be getting back to it.
BB good luck with the kitchen makeover, I'd love to do one but there's no point as the house is on the market now and I'm not spending any more money on it.
Marion - have you tried flossing and cleaning your teeth after your dinner if you're nibbling in the evening? I usually find that if I've flossed especially, I dont want to get any more food in between my teeth and that puts me off. Dont forget about the frozen grapes and other free treats too.Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0
