    hey everyone,

thought i'd let you have a bit of vicki weight loss news. Other night i found my boots print out when i weighed myself in december 07, and i thought id see if i had changed in a year and a month. Well i have folks!!!

I weighed 10 stone 5 or 3 (cant quite remember) lbs, had a bmi of 25.1 and a body fat percentage of 34.something. (off the scale for gods sake)

Today i weigh 9 stone 13lbs!! (that is with boots, a jumper, jeans ect so obviously take that into consideration!) my bmi is 24.2. didnt have another 30p to do a body fat reading but i shall go back again and get that done.

Trouble is, when i did it first time round i was 5 foot 3.3, now im 5 foot 3.7 so obviously that would count towards the bmi reading wouldnt it?
So im really chuffed to be a 9 stoner something, i only said last night that ive never been one since i was like 11 ha. Im starting swimming with my friend this month to try and tone a bit, and i think i will leave myself like i am, trott on as they say.

Hope everyone is ok, welcome to the new people. The thread moves so fast i can hardly keep up with it!

Well done to everyone on their weigh-ins, most people seem pleased with their Christmas New Year gains/STSs/losses which is great!

ffm - well done on no choc and more exercise for 6 days. :)
Marion - you should blame the little gremlins for leaving the peanuts there.;)

    Well, today I ate:

    Breakfast - oats, banana, yoghurt
Lunch - Brown rice, cabbage, onion, broccoli, babycorn
Dinner - (I bulk cook hence the same meals!) Brown rice, cabbage, onion, broccoli, babycorn - with 42g reduced fat cheddar. *snigger*
    Snacks - 1/2 packet crisps, 2 x apples, 1 x nectarine, 42g reduced fat cheddar
Drinks - Diet coke, 350ml semi-skimmed milk, water, black tea

Can anyone please tell me: re SW Healthy Extras, can I choose the same HEb twice? I find it so hard to eat Healthy Extras, I really do. I do the milk for HEa, and the cheddar for one HEb. But I find it so hard to eat another healthy extra in the day other than another piece of cheddar! I can't get most of the branded stuff here like Alpen bars, and I don't really like eating processed bars and things. I don't buy bread as I have no self control with it, and whilst I like granary bread I DETEST brown bread. (Does granary count as wholemeal?)

Anyway, if anyone can answer re the number of HEbs I'd really apperciate it. :)

THanks Polkadot..........interesting about the BMI. I used the linky at the start of the thread and took the figures from there! I will have to pay a visit to the docs at some point and see what they say!!

I need some motivation so when the house warms up later I am going to take some pics of me in my grundies, so I have something to look at and compare to when I do loose all this weight!

Forgot to add, I'll be going for a run tomorrow morning (goodness knows why, I hate running) for an HHE at about midday.

But I don't suppose anyone in the UK will be up at 0100 to join me! :(

    Hi everone,

needing a serious kick up the bum. I tried starting on Monday but didn't do so well, Tuesday I was better organised but had a little binge to myself last night as I ran out of heating oil and was panicking about money.

So I restarted this morning, met a friend after i dropped DS off to nursery and had a scone and butter with a cuppa. (meeting of the first wive's club lol!)

Still, today's not a complete write off, I'll start again from now and see how I get on.
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.

Also he mentioned that your BMI should be lower than your age-but not more than 5 years-so if you are 30, you are aiming for a BMI of 26.

Have I understood this correctly Polkadot - your Doctor is recommending BMI of no lower than age minus four?

No, that can't be right! Anyone over 40 would be clinically obese!!! :D
