Hi Annie, the Wii Fit is good fun, I may just post here rather than on the other thread - it seems a bit lonely over there.
HHE = half hour exercise, brought here from the flylady thread by polkadot. If you scroll back over the last 2 pages you will see the details. But basically you just post that you are going to do a HHE and others, if online, can join in. You then post your results - it gives a bit of motivation to get up and do something.
nmm and I just gave it a go this afternoon as you can see from our earlier posts - it is nice to know you are not alone :rotfl:
There might be another tonight at 8pm ish.

Hi all, not managed to get back to the gym yet  but eager to get back on that treadmill. I have been walking lots thou, and today I wrestled the xmas tree down, then spent the next hour vaccuming up the needles!
It's my birthday on Sunday, so we are talking Shadow for a nice long walk up on the moors, then off to Old Orleans for a birthday meal (I get mine free!!)

You found a bit of string 2 miles long? Hehe:rotfl: :rotfl: (have to add that I missed the words 'on a map' when I read it)
Would have loved to join in the HHE but I was in the cinema with the kids watching Madagascar 2. I'll look out for the next one. Thinking about using my cross trainer later but you lot are prob tired to do another?I would if I could but I can't so I won't!0 -
Hi everyone! Just a quick visit from me to report that today I've achieved my very first sub-60 minute 10K run, with a time of 59:31
It was torture :rotfl: I'm far happier running for much longer durations, but at a 20% slower pace. Back to those for now, until I feel the need to test myself again
Happy weekend to all!0 -

Well done Missy! The word inspiration springs to mind!I would if I could but I can't so I won't!0 -
Wow Missy - that is amazing - almost marathon level! You always amaze me with your approach to exercise (and inspire me).
I was sitting in the bus when the HHE happened - that in itself is most unusual as I usually drive into York but OH dropped me off so I got the bus back to the nearest place to us and he picked me up (we live nearly in the wilderness with no bus route). We have done a 30 minute dog walk since I came in, and I did power walk around Costco earlier so have moved a bit today.
Thanks Marion for explaining the Extra easy on SW - you made it very clear..... it is something that I always wondered about being able to do as we often used to use our syns and hea and hebs on the other plans free foods so we will give it a go. Thanks again.
WE have got lots of stuff on ebay finishing tonight so my sister is coming around to watch the end as we have some of her furniture on and there is a lot of interest - how sad are we?? lolNO EXCUSES - THIS YEAR IT'S PERSONAL..........0 -
well my HHE was painting part of the hall:D . It was a rather viralent lime green and is now white and will end up some version of magnolia (going for a light and bland hall to max light and off set viralent 'orange to be' kitchen which is open plan to the hall/dining room).
Sticking to plan well to day and only 2 syns used so far on HM sw 'carrot cake'.
Bkfast - fish and poached egg.
Lunch: lentil/carrot/tomato HM soup with added baked beans: free on sw and yummy and filling.
Dinner will be HM curry of yesterdays veg & last scraps of turkey stripped from 2 carcasses left over from family xmas. All 'free' on sw. May do OH rice but Ive got used to often not having rice or pots with main meals.
Pudding - got a fresh pineaple for £1
Snacks = weetabix and fruit
Marion - presumeably I can switch day by day between extra easy and say a red or green day? I want mac cheese tomorrow and need to make that a green day so I get 2x HEa's and can include the cheese in that.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

My you ladies have been good at the HHE's today:T
I have just got back (what time did I leave this morning?) Im pretty sure I did at least 2 miles worth of walking. Took DS to the park and ran around the gardens with him. Then noticed it was close to lunch so we stopped in at the cafe. I had a baguette with avo, mayo and salad. (Love open kitchens:) I know exactly how many slices of toms went on:) ). Then I ended up eating DS two slices of toast as he didnt want any.
My total calories today (including tea and a slimfast shake) is 1,655 thus far. Im doing chicken curry for supper tonight so I may end up going slightly over-but I figure the walk and my sesh on the orb later should balance it all out?
Probably do my ten minutes round 8 or 8.30 tonight, but I will come back and call it before I start. DS has decided that the Orbitrek is his bus/train as often in the day as it can be:rolleyes:
Im so looking forward to this weekend. Some more of my decorating equipment arrived today, and I found a desk mat which I hope will work as a rolling mat. I paid £1 for it so if it works it will be a real bargain (wont need to spend a tenner on specialised stuff:j ) Im going to do some royal icing work and since we have visitors arriving on Monday I can use that as my excuse. Also got three books out of the library so I plan to spend some time making copies of the templates.0
