FFM you choose the activity. And it doesn't have to be after 14H30 or 20H00, anytime you feel like you want to do one, if you feel like company check into the thread and look for company.
NMM you asked if we do one everyday on the flylady thread? There is always some kind of challenge going-the half hour exercise challenge was just one. Although we must be honest and say it was probably our least practised challenge:o cleaning and ironing challenges are far more common:D
I don't really post on the flylady thread anymore-as you probably noticed the other day Ive moved on to other challenges:) But the ladies there are all so lovely and its largely thanks to them that I'm here with you now. They helped me start getting my life back on the right track. But Im probably going off topic now, so I'll get back to todays bits on LW;)

I've been awake since 4H45 and I have no idea why, I didn't orb last night but I feel like I did-my legs are aching and Ive not done that much on it at all yet.
I have some errands to run today so Im going to start with a walk to the park with DS. He's been so good the last few weeks with all our visits away and visitors here that I think he deserves an ice cream.
As for me, I have made sure I wont be snacking by having my bran flakes this morning, so thats 200 calories

Okay, I've worked out that the easiest day for me to post weigh-ins is going to be on Saturday.

So Brighton Belle, I will post my starting weight tomorrow which means I won't be on the first chart next Wednesday, but definitely after that. :)

    Cheers

  • Hi

Can i join the HHE challenge too?

I am a at home mum and do my ebaying and other work from here so i can fit in most times (not school pick up times (8.30 am - 9am & 3pm - 3.30pm).

I will exercise to my w/w claire sweeny dvd as you can pick exercise routines from 10 min segments depending on how much time you have spare so ideal for this challenge.

Good morning everyone, sounds like there is going to be a lod of organised exercising going on! I might join in but being me will take a slightly different slant on it. I am not really into exercising as such, other than walking Charlie everyday, however I also spend far too much time just sitting:confused::o. So my "exercise" which I will start off with as 3 X 10 minute sessions a day is to get out of my chair and just do something! Anything will do for starters - ie vacuum a room, sort out a cupboard, tidy in the garden - just something extra that I would not necessarily have done that day. I'm not going to commit to specific times though:p

Right - here is my eating plan for the day - I have been so good since Boxing Day (New Years Eve does not count:rotfl:) I am doing the extra easy plan on SW

Breakfast - fresh fruit salad with yogurt and 5 scan brans (free+2.5 syns)

Lunch - Spanish ommelette with slice ham and roasted peppers using 1 tblsp oil (free+ heb)

Dinner - Vegetable & ham rice with parmeson cheese (free+hea)

    snacks - satsumas, mullerlite tonight
When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!

    Good evening Marion. :)

Out of sheer curiosity, how does SW work? What are 'free', 'hea' and 'heb'? How many can you have a day of each? No real reason other than pure interest!

    Cheers

Hi KiKi - SW is brilliant! free means just that - the food is free food - no limit on the amounts! hea - healthy extra a - which is your dairy choices such as milk, cheese etc. heb - healthy extra b choices - this is where it gets a little more complicated!:D

If you are on a red day then all your meat is free and your pasta and rice etc plus bread and cereals are counted as a b choice and are limited to 2 small portions.

If you are on a green day than all your rice, pasta pots etc are free and meats and bread and cereals are b choices and limited.to 2 small portions

The new extra easy plan - all free foods from red and green are free:eek::eek: however you only get 1 heb choice (which would now be bread/cereals or olive oil) Any syns you have on this day would be counted at the lower amount. If something is 5 syns on red but 2 syns on green you would count it as 2 syns. Most people are allowed between 5 and 15 syns a day. I get 20 because I am [STRIKE]fatter[/STRIKE]still have quite a lot to lose!:rotfl:

I am sure I have made it sound a lot more complicated than it is. I think if you go to slimmingworld.com there is an introduction and a sample menu for free!

extra easy sunds v interesting . . . may give it some thought once i get my portion sizes back under control.

office very quiet today - was not wanting to come in really, but i suppose it's like a gentle ease in, what with having the weekend so soon Saw the funniest thing at the agricultural museum in scotland - a device for calming down unruly cows. It's a big rock with a couple of holes drilled through it. Tie the rock loosely the the cows horns with the rock dangling a bit. Everytime the cow tosses its horns, it gets smacked on the head. Apparently they soon settle down.
