Hello and welcome to the group:hello:. You don't have to worry about posting your weight on here, all we do is post our losses and/or gains. What you weigh is your secret unless you want to post it on here! When you put you weekly result on here it would be helpful to BrightonBelle (BB) who correlates the figures if you put them in a larger and colored font ie: lost 48 lbs this week:cool:.

There is loads of great support on here, don't worry about all the mad people who insist on running around after something called a wii, it is not compulsary!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rolleyes:

Welcome b* angel - spread the junk over longer and incorporate healthier and you will begin to lose anyway. Good luck
I have just done a HHA yoga on the body balance channel. It was for pregnant people but it was fine. I will probably do another later on. Off for shower, Bfn;)

Good Morning Everyone, just a flying visit as am about to take Charlie out and then DD2 to the station and then hopefully Aldi to buy a new laptop. Finally decided to get one, but not sure if they will have any left once I get there.

Breakfast - bacon and eggs and hash browns (forgot to put the hashbrowns back in the freezer yesterday so they had to be cooked:o, I don't normally have the same breakfast twice in a row)

Lunch/Dinner - Roast chicken, mashed potatoes, brocolli and sweetheart cabbage with carrots.
Supper - Left over chicken in a wm roll with salad and a yogurt.

    Thats all folks

  • Hello everyone! I am really happy because...guess what...dear OH bought me an exercise bike! Woo hoo! It's been so cold and rainy I haven't felt like going out on my "real" bike much. I don't really mind jogging in the rain because you tend to stay warm, but when cycling your hands get so cold!

Hi BB hope you are feeling better. The 4head stuff is a non medicinal stick that you rub on your head and it supposedly helps with the pain. They have a migraine version I think. It contains levementhol which cools the skin.

Typical isn't it that trying to fix one thing triggers another!!! My tumour was discovered whilst they were looking for something else! That's why I hate doing to a new doc. I have a list of ailments as long as my arm but most of them have been found whilst looking for something else, but I'm sure I look like a hypochondriac. And you are SO right - you gotta larf!!!!

FFM No shame about mumbling about a cold. I moan about colds too - perfectly valid moan material! The only plus side is I can't taste my food so don't eat so much.:D
    I would if I could but I can't so I won't!

Well I'm extremely suprised and pleased to report a 3lb loss this week. Was expecting at best a sts due to a curry out and a very boozy Burns Night dinner. Think all the extra exercise and the limited food choice where i stay during the week practically forcing me to become vegetarian is obviously helping.
  • Morning all
Just feel bleughh today as an after effect of yesterday so going to have a quiet day.
FFM - thanks for your kind words. Ditto what tagz says: you can feel rotten with 'just a cold' and i like it when peeps look after themselves and don't soldier on and feel worse.

Big welcome to B*angel and several other newbies I've missed - sorry not to name you individually but please join in lots: it's the best way to feel part of the forum quickly and for us to get to know you and for us to help each other with motivation. Have a read of post one for tips. If you want to go on our weekly weight loss chart for the monthly 'lose 5lb challenge' just post your 1st loss (weigh same time each week, doesn't matter when) in big bold writing and I'll pick it up.

    Todays sw red menu:
    Bkfast: fish & poached egg
lunch: 227g baked potato(HEB) 42h half fat grated cheddar(HEA) toms & grated carrot.
dinner: slow cooker belly pork (haven't syned the fat in the meat but probably the rest of my allowance but it is sooo tasty) in white wine(2 syns per portion) with onions, corgetttes & worcester sauce. Serve with mashed celeriac/carrot/swede.
snacks: banana on ryvita(HEB) & raw swede
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

:rotfl: I just love it. It's quite sweet. - I've always snacked on raw veg. Since a young child, my mum used to give me a pile of raw runerbeans before dinner as my portion as I don't like them cooked. She still does it now and I'm in my 40's:rotfl: . I don't know that it's especially good for you, other than raw food veg is supposed to be. I've recently discovered the joys of raw sweet potato - very yummy:D

I always ate differently to my family and don't know where it comes from - mum always made home made cakes that everyone devoured but I never touched then , so never had a birthday cake as a child. And I always loved meat, particularly meat on bones and eating them with my hands. I just naturally defaulted to eating with just a fork and my hands.
I can however eat 'properly' in public:D . And I have trained myself to like more cooked veg as a grown up.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once
