I rang yesterday and was advised that I could return the phones for a full refund as the mistake was theirs. Haven't opened the box yet to see what's inside so don't know whether to just return them or try for a refund for the sim cards...0

if you did it through a credit card minman let them sort it out
you are entitled to the phones at £29.990 -
The 3 network is still rubbish by the way.
Calls do not handover to the 2G network when you lose coverage of Three's 3G network, and therefore calls will drop.
Three's 2G network is O2.
The phone is OK for casual use.
Think that's a general 3G - 2G issue at the moment as Vodafone does it too0 -
Stavros - no did it on a debit card mistakenly thinking CPW were a reputable company >:(
Their returns dept never rang me yesterday, so I shall brace for an attack this lunchtime!0 -
oh :-/ if you've got the time you could take them to small claims ???0

bit late now, but yes.. always use credit card when dealing with CPW - otherwise they just mess with you!
I cant be doing with arguing for hours with them, let the credit card company do that..Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.0 -
I see they've elevated the threepay E616V to the front page of
http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/
I wonder how many more complaints they'll get about shipping older models!!

received my unwanted e616 (not v >:() yesterday. after receiving the pricing error email i replied asking for the order to be cancelled, which they obviously ignored.
returned it to my local cpw store to be told i could not be refunded the credit, and that if i rang 3 customer services they would do it. so got home and rang 3 customer services, who told me that the sales assistant had lied to me.
rang cpw customer care and should be receiving a cheque soon...
what a hassle just to get my money back for their error ::)0 -
Ive contacted CPW customer services about this twice, and no offer other than a refund although they were not authorised to take more than £30 from my credit card, I think this very poor bordering on the illegal. I think I may contact trading standards about this as Im not best pleased ???0

I don't understand...i just called CPW again and they still won't give me a refund...i even got told from the manager (who apparently all the refunds from the internet go through) that NO refunds for just £15 have been given out, and he's been in all week! i'm fed up with the whole thing now so will just be returning the phone tomorrow0
