    Big W in Edinburgh was supposed to be closing on Monday and is now closing on Tuesday.

    Might pop down later to see whats left. I'm really sad Woolies is going :(

    I ended up driving over and it was shut so must have closed yesterday as advertised.

    Now Woolworths has gone there isn't much left in the town centre, very sad.

    I went to the Wallsend branch & got the special edition DVD box set of Lost Boys I & II for £3.15 which I was waaaay chuffed with as I have it on VHS and wanted to replace it. I got the Rhydian CD for my mum's birthday, Same Difference & Cheetah Girls 2 CDs for my youngest's birthday, some gorgeous sunglasses (in case we see the sun this year!) and a daft Purple Ronnie book for my Dad. It all came to about £10.

    The staff had a 'beer fund bucket' for after work so I chucked £3.00 in there too.

    I went into our local store & there was nothing worth buying even at 70% off - I think that says it all about woolies failure to keep up. Very sad, & I'm so sorry for all the staff losing their jobs.

    has anyone been to the Big W in Edinburgh? if so, anything much left? want to go and see what there is on tuesday but dont want to waste my journey!

    anyone know if sevenoaks has much left? only one open thats local to me now, was thinking of popping down on tuesday on the last day
