Anyone know what the Blyth, Ashington or Redcar stores are like? Much stock left? Worth a visit?
Blyth is scheduled to close on the 5th (tomorrow) however if like everyone is saying its a day later than planned then it will be the 6th .... however we went in there a few days ago and there wasn't an awful lot left, but we plan to go there today and see if we can get a few bits for our daughters birthday in May!
not sure about Ashington or Redcar as Blyth is our local store.Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Just a quick word for anyone with a Woolies still nearby thats open.... BATTERIES!
On Saturday got ten packs of Sony AA x 4 for 30p a packet, Woolies AA x 24 for 60p a packet then later on got the Duracell+ Batteries for 40p a packet so they're well worth having a scrounge for in any remaining stores.0 -
Just got some christmas cards from my local store, there wasn't alot left. The cds and dvds were priced a bit weird though - like a Fame Academy cd for £12.99!~When you wish upon a star~:heart2:0

Anyone in the Blyth area don't bother going ... there is a tiny amount of stock and on most items they are not honouring the discounts! The staff have marked items up with their own prices and then put them through the till at that price!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0

I would say that could be your branch only. I was there yesterday and there was very little but the CD's and dvds were 50% off still so hardly any were being sold as the prices were about £10 for dvds:rolleyes:Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Liverpool city centre branch (the one in Clayton Square shopping centre) closes on Tuesday (tomorrow). LOADS of CDs and DVDs left. Top chart CDs for £4 or less and same for DVDs. Great books £2 or less. Examples are Jane Green's latest novel, Metallica's new album Death Magnetic and the new Beatles DVD. It's not only tat left there, but you have to look!!0
