hi, does anyone know of any stores near Coventry/West Midlands still open - I was having a spring clean and found a £30 Woolies voucher under my bed, I really want to spend it tomorrow rather than it be wasted. Many Thanks

The Redditch ones last day is tomorrow.

I was in there yesterday and they had dvds and cds half price.
    Lots of kids clothes
    about 10 suitcases
    earphones for 50p
8 cards for £1 (not much there though)
    3 posters for £1
and a few other bits and bobs
Money makes the world go mad, the world go mad, the world go mad! :wall:

Strood is supposed to be having the one day extension but had a poster up saying last day.

Very little left now although cans of drink were 2 for 1 and 60% off and they were bagging up chocolate bars, large ones 2 for £1 small 4 for £1 and hubby was pleased to get 10 packs of tick tacs for £1.

All dvds and cds were 60% off and 2 for 1 as well but very little left, big tub of quality street purple ones for 50p were good though :)

Felt sad as i left knowing it would be the last time.
  • Anyone been to Bexhill recently? I'm swinging past tomorrow & its the only one round there thats still open, so I thought it would be worth a look?
I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!

Popped into my local yesterday (due to close tomorrow) but there's very little left now - rows and rows of Worth It girl's tops, all the same size and colour, lots of girl's fleece hat/mittens sets all the same size and colour, some rolls of Bratz wrapping paper and a few uninteresting odds and bods of stationery. There was a few jumble-sale type boxes of girl's shoes, slippers and tights but just the stuff nobody wants, like high-heel wellies for 3yr olds and little-girl tights for 12+ years.

There was absolutely nothing edible left in the shop (sadly lol), no books or computer games, a few random DVDs and CDs with 50% off and very few toys, again with an overpriced 50% off.

Happy that they've managed to shift so much of their stock, but no real bargains so doubt I'll bother to go tomorrow.
