Quark with herbs and seasoning, or a healthy A of cheese triangles, I think.
Mmmm I want one now!0 -

Hi Kandi
I used this recipe recently from an old Ainsley Harriet book - prep time 10 mins, cook time 10 mins, serves 4;
4 x Turkey/chicken escalopes
2 garlic cloves - finely chopped
grated rind and juice of 1 lemon
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil or chives (I used chives)
4 slices parma ham (3 syns 28g) or use lean smoked bacon
2 tbl sp olive oil - I used fry light
salt/pepper
Halve escalopes horizontally and open out, season with salt pepper, sprinkle over garlic, lemon rind and chopped herbs. Sandwich pieces back together and wrap with ham/bacon then pin in place with cocktail sticks
Heat Oil/fry light in a frying pan and cook for 4-5 mins until golden brown. Turn over, drizzle with lemon juice and cook for 3-4 mins until cooked through.
It was lovely - really tasty, hardly took any prep time and was really quick and easy to cook.

You can have another (or two) laughing cows and they could be your snack and your HEa?
Got any pasta and baked beans - thats a good snack!0 -
Afternoon all.
Just popping on quick, before preparing tea.
Having quorn sausage casserole with piles of vegs, a very cheap moneysaving dish, doesnt cost much and leftovers can be eaten next day!Proud to be DEBT FREE AT LAST0 -

Hi
I have been reading this thread on & off since joining SW last year. I was doing really well - all due to a great consultant and class (It helps to stay every week! ). I had lost 17 1/2 lbs from october up to week b4 christmas and was so chuffed with myself. I have been away for 3 weeks and just got back wed in time for SW yesterday..
I have put on 11 1/2 lbs:eek:
Well now I have picked myself up from off the floor and I am determined to rid myself of the excess I put on (I did have a good christmas and new year but didn't realise just how good:o ).
I am not sure I will try the new plan, but will stick with the known green & red until I have sorted my excess out.
x
Well done everyone for your losses!SW Convert - started 20/09/09 -3 Stone to lose!!
So far lost 11 1/2lbs :j0
