icon7.gifDaily eating plan - SW extra easy
Good morning everyone, what happened to the sun, freezing fog here now:mad:? You really need loads of warming foods to eat when the weather is like this (at least I do:o)

OK - here is my plan for today:

Breakfast - egg and bacon plus yogurt and berries plus a banana (free)

    milk in coffees (hea)

Lunch - left oven SW chicken curry from the freezer along with the remains of last nights rice (free)

Snack - coffee and a couple of alpen lights (choc&toffee) cut into small pieces and I shall pretend I am eating chocs:p (heb)

Dinner - sausages with mashed potatoes and peas plus a yorkshire pudding! (4 syns)

Evening - jelly with sliced bananas and yogurt (1 syn)

That should see me through the day:p:rotfl:

For curry lovers, add about six cloves when boiling plain basmati/rice. It gives it a lovely aroma. Remove before serving, unless you like dried cloves of course!

  • About the swede - I like it mashed with carrot and potatoes. You can always do a bulk job with it and freeze in portions.

I'm a bit miffed I had a can of chunky soup last night when I wanted a syn free day yesterday, and I'm dreading looking up the syns. Amazingly despite buying food practically every other day at the moment I couldn't find anything quick and easy to do when I got in from fitness class at 9.30pm! It was 258 calories for the can and full of chunks of steak and potatoes, so I may just bury my head in the sand and pretend to myself that most of the ingredients are EE anyway! :o Only jokign I will look up the syns at some point. I'm so desperate for a really good loss this week, I want to be under the next stone barrier and with it being my first week and all it should be possible... I need to lose 4lbs.

Hmmm think my local gym will be seeing a bit more of me this weekend!

Melon for brekkie this morning, followed by a snack of melon and a lunch of melon... :rotfl: I have a whole one I bought reduced yesterday, but don't think I'll use it at the weekend

Also got superfree soup of leek, onion, carrots, broccoli and beef bovril. I blended it and it looks a bit of a murky colour :o but tastes ok with black pepper added.
  • I went to the slimming world for the first time since November last night. I had already been on the diet for a week but this was me properly joining again. And I had put on 6 pounds. I’m okay with it though as I have had xmas. I eat takeaways every weekend and at the end of November I swapped contraception and my appetite was ridiculous afterwards. So I think that’s quite good. I’m going to be extra good this week though I’m planning to do a work out with my new dvd tonight Saturday and Sunday as I’m too tired after word to do it and eat sensible no more then 5 syns. Does anyone think its possible to lose that 6 pounds in a week?

I have no eating plans today - which isnt good, but will be snacking on fruit and squash/water, just need to plan tea... any ideas what I could do with a swede except for Shep Pie?

it's lovely with mash and sprouts in bubble and squeak.

I'm trying an EE day today

BF - shredded wheat and milk (HEA and B)
Lunch - chicken noodle soup (Homemade, chicken mushrooms leeks bacon pasta)
Dinner- Gammon steak, pineapple, SW chips and veg

    I think that works?

I just thought that with all this cold weather we must be burning up loads more calories just keeping warm! Good for dieters I reckon.

    Morning.
    Another EE day here.

Just had a mullerlight and a banana for breakfast. Lunch tuna stuffed cucumber with some boiled eggs, and tea a chicken curry.

Supper will be oats made with water and mixed with a mullerlight (thanks to whoever suggested that tried it last night and it was lovely)

Need to fit in a hea in there too, but if i dont ill have a milky coffee before bed.

The new mullerlight flavours are not all free, consultant did tell us , if i remember right only the vanilla and choc is free the others are syned.

    Have a good day

Emma-jane1987, Is it possible to lose 6 pounds in a week - yes it is possible, however it is unlikely. Sorry but you would normally only get a large loss like that if it is your first week and you havn't been slimming before that. Or if your a man:mad: :p. Try not to set your expectations too high or you will become disappointed and will give up! You can do it, we can all do it together!:A
