So on the extra easy you just get the one HEA and HEB but then 'free' foods (from either red or green) are OK so long as about a third of your plate is superfree. trouble is I always have cereals for BF as I don't have time for anything else (except at the weekends) so that's all my HE gone in about 5 minutes!
Thats correct except a third of your plate doesn't HAVE to be superfree. Having the superfree foods will help speed up your weightloss, but you will still lose weight if you have just a free red or green meal. Could you take something to have at work? Do you have any facilities at work to reheat/cook?0 -

But don't forget saving your syns all week for a treat is Old Style SW. New style is Flexible syns - set yourself a target (say 60), go out, enjoy everything you eat and drink (but keep counting up to your limit) and then get back on plan the next day. It shouldn't effect your weightloss if its an occaisonal/one off event!
Okay so i can not do that now then save all my syns up even if i do have red and green days and no EE in a week. I have always found weekdays easy as i'm in a routine while being at the weekend i find it nearly impossible going out for meals drinking. I always saved my sysn for them so in this case it would be a once off occasion it would be a weekly even lol0 -
Hi everybody!! I have been a bit of a lurker on this thead for a couple of days now and have read all posts!! Me and a friend are joining SW on monday and it has been a great source of inspiration motivation and information reading all your posts.
I have never been to SW before but my friend has and i must say the EE plan sounds really appealing just wanted to introduce myself on this thread as I will be a regular contributer(I hope:D) Thanks for all information provided on here good luck to every1 and well done on all your achievements:T:T:T I cannot wait till Monday now!!:j

Hi guys, about to go my first session (again!) but got a bit nervous and changed my mind. So I came on to read the last posts on the thread and def going now
EE sounds amazing but I'm still a bit suspicious of it, so I'll find out whether other people in the group lost weight on it first. My SW tip of the day is.. "Don't forget to freeze in portions - you can't scoop out frozen mashed potato like ice cream!" (Imagine if you could..). Speaking of which, I just snapped my kitchen knife in half trying to cut a chunk off. Now I've had to defrost the lot in one go, so there are gonna be quite a few cottage pies and bangers and mash over the next few days, I hope I don't drown in the stuff.0 -
Hi
SC, you seem to be doing well on your first official week back on plan.
The Pharmacy I work for are the exclusive uk sellers of a new weightloss plan...Celebrity Slim. Although we have had loads of positive feedback about it's succcess, I have decided not to go on it after the baby is born....I really prefer to eat regular food and excercise, I think it is the best way to lose weight and keep it off. A colleague was considering it but has now decided to go with SW (she had done SW many years back).
I forgot to tell her about this thread for additional support, I will tell her next week (my final week in work)
I am glad I tried my best to stay on the plan throughout the pregnancy as I am now 31wks and have put on 1st 4lb so far...which is great for me as I usually gain looooads. I am getting close to being able to join group and get serious about losing weight soon.
In the meantime could some kind person please pm me the password so I can check a few syns.

oh, I'm actually a stay at home mum but I have to leave the house early as school starts at 8.15 here and I tend to be very hungry when I wake up. Sometimes if I come back home after dropping the children I have eggs and stuff but often I'll be out 'till lunchtime. I'm sure I need to just get better organised in the evenings for the next day and plan ahead a bit more to give me an easy, no thinking or preparing, quick free BF. Fruit salad is one I guess and yogurt.... and there I run out of ideas.0 -

If you only have the one bar, then you count it as syns instead, in which case it would be 3 syns per bar.
does that help?0 -
Hiya everyone, well I am going back tonight (well, not back as it's a new location and a new consultant, but it replaces the old Thursday night classes that I used to go to, which isn't on anymore, so I expect to see a lot of familiar faces. Padding: Day 42
Target £8000
Amount: £562.230 -

Yes - freeze mash in small portions! You can always have two of them
Mind you, on extra easy or on green there are loads of things you can do with surplus mash -
bubble and squeak cakes - g / ee
fish cakes - ee
cottage pie, with meat - ee
vegi cottage pie - ee/g
morrisons eat smart bangers and mash - ee
'better than sex pie' (its what a girl in class calls it as she wants it more than once a week :rotfl: ) baked beans with a bit of chilli and quorn sausages topped with mash and HA of cheese, baked - g/ee0 -
I've had a rotten day at work but I've stuck to the plan...mostly!
Breakfast - weetabix, blueberries and mullerlight]
Lunch - Quorn curry left overs and baked spud
Snack - whole tub of cherries
I was starving when I got home so I've had a hi-fi bar to keep me going, that kind of mucks up my plan to have an EE day but hey ho.
I'm thinking of having gridded scallops and then sea bass with veg at the restaurant tonight, the syns shouldnt be too bad I hope? They have the internet on computers now?! - Homer Simpson
It's always better to be late in this life, than early in the next0
