I don't suppose i'm going to drink that much of it anyway each day but the whole bottle is about 7 syns and i thought it was free.

Does anyone know if I can syn milk? Typically I only have two cups of tea a day ? I am trying to work out whether I want to use my HEA for milk or for cheese if I am having an extra easy? If I only use 120ml milk for two cups of tea this should not be very many syns especially if I had the skimmed milk?

I will then include a few black coffees etc as with this cold weather, hot drinks is all I want!
  • HI all, just dropped in to note down my menu for today -

    green

B muller and banana, tea (milk from HA)
snack - lockshen bake 1/2 syn
L pasta, BNS, bacon (HB) feta (HA) watercress and rocket salad. This has to be one of my favourite all time meals - it is in the oven and smells FAB!
D - DH is cooking, so sweet potato felafel, brown rice and hm coleslaw - yum

    have a good day everyone!

All of the information on the different milks is on the white pages in the middle of your 'Food Optimising' booklet from your starter pack. It can all be synned the same as any other food!

Just checking in with my eatin plan for today

its an EE day I think as I will be having tea at my mums so am not sure what that will be (?) but if not could be changed to a green day

    HEA - milk

B - banana - had interviews at work so not much time to eat today
L - Jacket & cottage cheese, carrot and celery sticks
    D - anyones guess (LOL)

snacks - rasp/muller light/satsumas/apple/pear (if I can fit em all in)

Thought I would save the HEB incase I need it for tea....

Love the dancing idea SC - wich my OH would be up for something like that, but I gues just have to stick to the dog walking for now.

Does anyone use Wii fit and do you see good results???..... I got one in July for my bday but dont think I've ever used it
    Thanks

I have just read the explanation of EE's and it appears that I can have curry and lots of it if I make it my normal way as follows:
    • brown beef in fry light
    • fry onions
    • add 2 tablespoons of Pataks Paste (works out roughly 4 syns per serving??)
    • stir in baked beans
    • sitr in tin of chopped toms (are these free??)
    • cook on low in oven for a few hours
    • serve with rice
I can not see me losing my weight eating lots of that..... but am willing to have a go :T

Chopped toms are free, yes. I ate myself stupid on Quorn curry, rice and SW chips last night - and yes you will lose weight! Looking forward to having my beef curry with rice on an EE day!

Why not use spices instead of Pataks? We always make our curries from scratch so they are totally free! :T

    Skint_Catt,

Please share your curry recipes with us if you don't mind.
Do you mean you make your curry paste from scratch?

No, I don't use curry paste at all, just dried spices, fromage frais and chopped toms. I'll have a look for my receipe I use most often (it is in the Curry Feast Book) and will type it out later.
