I was quite looking forward to going to class tonight for the first time (again!) but it's so damn cold outside I dont want to go out again and sit in a drafty hall for almost 2 hours....how much of a wimp am I?!

Would it be really bad of me to follow the plan on my own for the time being?

Sounds like it would still be free. The "not really still free if you mess with it" rule is more applicable to if you are using it to make a cake for example, becuase that would mean you can eat a whole cake for free, meaning you'd probably eat it in addition to your meals. same as grinding anything up and using it as flour. There's no way that's a healthy mindset to get in, so that's why they've done that.

Yeah i understand what you mean as you would be eating too much of it basically. I use mine as the main part of my main meal. And then save the half half of the pizza for my lunch the next day.

Liz3yy - got for it! You know you should and I always feel better for having made the effort. Its too easy not to go next week if you don't go this week (plus you'll have to pay for this week anyway in back fees so you might aswell get something for your money!)

Go on - go for it ;)

If you really can't face going out in the cold then stick to using this forum till next week put what you have to eat on every day. Will you feel guilty if you don't go though and then say that you will start the diet next week instead. I think the cold weather is going to be around for a while so you will have to go at some point.

I would need to sign up again anyway as the last time I set foot in the class was last Easter!

I just dont like the idea of spending half the evening sitting around in the class when I all want to do is get the updated books on how to follow the plans, I guess I cant just go along pick them up and leave again?!

I sound terrible dont I!?

You can why not. If you know the plan and you understand it then you don't have to stay just say you cant stay this week. At least you have been which is the main thing. Then next week if its a bit warmer (very unlikely) you could stay.
• Can anyone point me in the right direction for the morrisons free sausages? I understand that its a bit confusing as to which ones it is that are free on red and which are syns.

Also, Consultant31 or anyone else who knows for definate, I'm sure this thread has said conflicting things about how to syn things that are different levels of syns on red/green. Do you use the higher value or the lower one?

The only meat sausages that are free are;
Morrisons Eat Smart Diet, Pork Sausages, Less Than 3% Fat, 8 pack, chilled~~ 57g each

red.gif Original Free green.gif Green 3 Syns
In the chiller though - the same sausages in the freezer (pack of 16) aren't free

On red days you take the red syn value, on green days you take the green syn value, on EE then you take whichever is the lowest syn value.

On the extra easy plan you take the lower level of syns:j
The Morrisons free sausages are the low fat ones in the chiller, not the freezer. Not sure of the exact name sorry!

Sorry - didn't realise this had been answered!

I bought some powdered "dips" which are very low calorie and you just mix them with quark or 0% yoghourt and they're lovely. Flavours like Orange & Black Pepper, Chicken Tikka, Stilton & Apple etc. You can also mix them with cottage cheese and fill a jacket potato.

What are these called and where do you get them?? How many syns in each??

Thanks

Sorry Liz3yy - I didn't realise you weren't already signed up. If you want to try going alone then we're here for help and support - you can always go next week, or next month or in 6months if you don't find you're getting the results. i know for a fact that I HAVE to go to class as my willpower isn't strong enough - if I don't have to tell anyone about that bar of choc then I'll have it ;)
