  • Hi Guys,

I first did slimming world about 10+ years ago and lost 5 stone and have decided that I must get back on track again. I can remember most of the principles but I would like to ask a couple of quick questions.

Does an alpen light bar count as a B option?
Are the muller light layers yoghurts free?

You all sound like a friendly bunch on here and as I work shifts, I will hopefully get most of my support from you guys...

Anyway heres to a decidely slimmer 2009...

Any comments on Extra Easy yet?

Just wondering!;) I did notice in the EE booklet our consultant gave us it says

" Unbelieveably EE makes your first few weeks of Food Optimising even easier" it also says "we'll monitor your weight loss as you reduce in size and help you choose when to switch to our Original or Green choice, if you feel you need to speed up your weight loss."

I am losing weight (almost 2 stones) and feeling great on SW (mainly original) but as regulars on here may recall, I lose very slowly. I guess the only way, is to give it a try isn't it?

The details of Extra easy are on the offical sw site now, and my consultant is running us throught it tonight at group, but from what iv read on the sw site it sounds fantstic.

Any free food from either green or red list ...so yes can eat rice and potatoes with meat and fish in unlimited amounts!
The main different being only 1 a and 1 b healthy extra each day.
Also if you are looking up syn value of anything and are following the easy extra plan you take the lower syn value given ( so if on a red day its 3 and a green day its 6 you would count it as 3 on extra easy)

To me this is going to be a fantastic plan to follow as sometime fancy red meals and a green at tea, but when i do mix to max get all muddles up if i dont write things down.
So i can now have what i want even if its a bit of both.
