Re the pizzaestherina35 wrote: »surely this is fine to have on a firly regular basis if your counting everything ..am i wrong...?
The issue is the bread base. The rules for HB state that you can have 57g wholemeal bread as a B choice (not pitta).
57g bread dough is not the same as 57g bread. Just as you are not allowed wholemeal pitta bread, you would be stretching the rules of the plan to allow 57g wholemeal pizza base.
I have little doubt that using bread dough in this way, stretched as a pizza, would count as a 'misuse of free food' by SW, so like cous cous cake and chickpea cake, if we are going to include it in the plan, then it should be as an occasional part of our diet only. Any more than this and it will start to affect our weight loss.

Did 4 days SE, 2 days EE and one day had a takeaway curry (that I ate about 1/4 of) and lost 2 1/2 lbs!
My first loss for weeks.
Although my Dr said it was my 'own fault' for not losing, I did very little different to usual (well ate more of the wrong stuff..........curry) and lost. I can't help but wonder if dr changing one of my meds has made a difference.
Oh well, don't care now, as long as it comes off!
Before I WI last night, spoke to consultant and agreed whatever my weight was tonight would be my target, so I won't have to pay for a while if I keep staying the same as I have done for several weeks now.
Feeling uplifted and hope it keeps up.
Thank you to everyone again and again for your support.

Well done Lilaclillie, hopefully it will keep coming off steadily now. :T :T :TJust because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:0 -
Just to add, I have been finding I like to use the extra easy plan for the weekends as it enables me to have the freedom of roast dinners etc, but i would not want to do extra easy every day as I think it would slowly encourage me back into old bad habits. So generally I stick to red/green plan except for weekends.Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:0

The angie pizza has just reminded me of something. I thought maybe we could get a Pizza-ish base if we took a HEb of any sliced bread, cut off the crusts (and ate them
) and took a rolling pin to the bread to squash it in to a thin "base". Not perfect, but a possibility perhaps...?
Yesterday ended up over syns once more, but I am on track so far today and going to class to be suitably chivvied along by my class0 -
Hi Everyone,
Just wondered if I could join this thread? I haven't been going to classes, but have been following the plan with a group of friends in work (we put £1 each in per week and the biggest loser each week gets £5 back and everytime someone loses .5 stone they get £20 back - it's a great motivator). We've been doing this since November and I've lost almost 2 stone, with another 2 to go. I've been lurking around reading this thread since November, and thought it was time to join in. I must say, I think you're all fab - the support everyone gets on here is fantastic!
This is my plan for today:
Breakfast - Chopped Fruit
Muller Light
Lunch - Leftover Rice fried with chopped peppers, onions and garlic.
Chicken Breast (HEB)
Sauce of 1tbs Soy Sauce & 1tbs Ketchup (1 syn??)
Dinner - Pasta Pesto and veg (Free, 1 syn for Pesto)
Grated Cheese (HEA)
1 slice Garlic Bread (5 syns)
I have a fruit bowl beside me in work for snacks.
Have I calculated these right??Sealed Pot Challenge - member 1109:j0 -
Hi everyone hope you don't mind me joining in. I've been on here before because I've been on SW the last couple of months but I really need HELP
. I lost almost a stone then began to demotivate and gained 5lbs. Last week I gained another 2 lb and I feel like I am jumping off the wagon.
I desperately need to shift at least 2 stone for my hols in June but at the moment I dont seem to be motivated. I'm constantly craving chocolate and tend to give in at any hurdle.
I'm finding that I just cannot think of meal plans even though I have all the books and mags. I'm hoping that if I make a point of reading this thread daily it will keep me motivated.Little Miss Chatterbox

Welldone Lilaclillie thats a great loss, i know you were getting frustrated hopefully that wil give you the motivation to carry on.
I also lost 2.5 lbs this week. this is my first proper 100% week doing red/green and one EE. I had my wine at the wekend but I had accounted syns for it and was very good Sun and Mon. Do im off to a good start this week and im determined to get rid of that 7lb and get to target soon.
Today im having green
Brekkie - 0% greek yoghurt wiht blueberries, 2 x nimble with spread (heb, 1.5 syns)
Lunch - mug shot, Hifi bar (free, heb)
Dinner leftover quorn chilli with rice (free)
supper - SW chips, fruit kit kat (5.5 syns)
hea milk in tea, loads of water:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Well Done LilacLille - that is a GREAT loss .. and you did a LOT different IMHO - not only did you have a change in meds, but you did SE (which as you know fills you up on 2/3 superfree, filling, low cal food) AND EE (you normally avoid carbs IIRC?) all in one week - thats a lot of changes in my book - weel done you for having a great week ... lets hope it is the first of many
estherina - all fruit mullers without a layer are free. toffee / choc vanilla / vanilla / banana&custard are also free.
Off to weigh in - hopefully I have maintained, but I have a niggling feeling that the blowout in the pub at the weekend might result in a small gain.
I shall have to have a super :A week next week, as the week after that is my birthday and a long weekend in Copenhagen ... (where I don't plan to be :A :rotfl:)
