  • Occasionally (OK, twice in 10 months... :o) I have made a pizza 'fit' with SW. I *know* that this isn't 100% on plan, but for those "I have been :A all week, and fancy an after WI pizza without using a weeks worth of syns", I do this:

I make a bread dough using wholemeal flour. I use a standard bread recipe for this, then weigh out 115g of the dough. I count this as 2 HB.

I stretch it like there is no tomorrow, and this can cover a 12" tray if you like it really really thin and crispy. I spread 2tbs tinned tomatoes, sprinkle some dry oregano and crushed garlic and then add some cooked chopped spinach, 42g torn mozzarella (HA), some slices of beef tomato.

I cook this in a very hot oven for 10 mins, then crack an egg and cook for another 5 - 10 mins.

Hey presto, Pizza Express Fiorentina, 2HB, 1HA, no additional syns.

    Big salad on the side.

edit - I have posted this as an illustration of how if there is something you reeeeally fancy, 9 times out of 10 you can find a way of fitting it to one of the SW plans, even in this case where it used all my HE's for the day (other than milk in tea).. but, because I planned it I was extra careful to be a :A all day, and indeed I thoroughly looked forward to it :D

surely this is fine to have on a firly regular basis if your counting everything ..am i wrong...?
  • crumbs i started SW yesterday from home...can i really eat all that pasta??????!!!!!! :j

i made a plateful of pasta with mozzerella 42g i think it was from the HEA or B,with tin toms fryed in spray oil....herbs and tobasco sauce....plus parmesan from my HEA or B...??
seemed like i was eating more than i should????:rotfl: :undecided

:hello: Hi all, just wanted to say I'm still around though haven't even got time to keep up with the thread!

After a fab birthday week on which I didn't get back to plan so put 2.5lb on but not worried. Starting again today  though stuck for easy red day ideas (other than gammon or cooked breakfasts!). Need to plan more and get things in the Slow Cooker!

At last I've lost a bit of weight!
Did 4 days SE, 2 days EE and one day had a takeaway curry (that I ate about 1/4 of) and lost 2 1/2 lbs!
    My first loss for weeks.
Although my Dr said it was my 'own fault' for not losing, I did very little different to usual (well ate more of the wrong stuff..........curry) and lost. I can't help but wonder if dr changing one of my meds has made a difference.
Oh well, don't care now, as long as it comes off!
Before I WI last night, spoke to consultant and agreed whatever my weight was tonight would be my target, so I won't have to pay for a while if I keep staying the same as I have done for several weeks now.
Feeling uplifted and hope it keeps up.
Thank you to everyone again and again for your support.
